Thirteen Ghosts

It turns out that the man that seemed to be dead at the junkyard was alive the whole time and the lady who saved Arthur's daughter from the jackal was working with him. The children end up in the center of the machine and Arthur jumps in and saves them. Several of the ghosts finally get their hands on the evil man we thought was dead and kills him. The machine is destroyed and so is the house, and all of the spirits cross over. Arthur and his family get to say goodbye to their wife/mother who stays behind for a moment and was one of the spirits, and appears one last time with a nice looking dress and without the burn mark on her face to tell the family she loves them, then leaves. Maggie appears, mentioning she is quitting her nanny job.

Other mistake: When everyone is looking for Bobby, Matthew Lillard says that it is no use shouting because the glass is 100% sound proof. Yet when he is trapped in the cage, he hears Maggie screaming directions for him to dodge the ghost - not sound proof at all then.

Rafkin: There are ghosts in the basement.
Maggie: This basement?
Rafkin: Of course this basement! What is it with you people? If it was the basement next door I wouldn't give a shit, would I?

Trivia: While the Withered Lover is stated to be proactive for the side of good, two other ghosts are never seen actually attacking or scaring someone. The First Born Son is more of a taunter and prankster, though the Torso seems to be more or less harmless as he doesn't even hurt Cyrus. The Dire Mother is also seen as harmless by herself, but she is accompanied by her disabled son Harold who carries an axe for protection.

Question: At the end, is Cyrus a ghost or a real person? If he's a ghost, why can he be seen without the glasses?

Answer: He's alive. He faked his death at the beginning of the movie to get Arthur and his children into the house, because only then would he be able to force Arthur to engage the 13th Ghost. When Cyrus is seen at the end of the movie, he is disguised with the blood patch to make it appear that he is dead to a casual observer with the glasses (everyone is wearing them at this point) and prevent Arthur from being able to figure out his plan.
