Continuity mistake: The parking lot pavement and the cars are all dry when Denny, Eve, and Zoe are taking their shopping cart to their vehicle. The camera shifts to Enzo watching them from their vehicle and the vehicle and its windows are wet from rain. When the camera returns to Denny, Eve, and Zoe, the parking lot and cars are still dry with no evidence of rainfall. (Also, a dog should not be left unattended in a vehicle). (00:30:18)

Other mistake: It was pouring rain when Denny got home in a taxi, but he somehow managed to walk from the curb, up the sidewalk, and into the front door without getting his jacket or face wet. His hair might have got a little wet but, if so, it quickly dried. (00:26:10)

Continuity mistake: When Enzo was lying in front of the Christmas tree, the wrinkled wrapping paper changed locations a couple times, but there was no sound to indicate Enzo had moved it. Initially, the wrinkled wrapping paper was several inches away from Enzo. Next, smaller pieces were between Enzo's front legs. A couple seconds later, there was wrapping paper on both sides of Enzo's front legs but none between them like earlier. (00:23:58)

Continuity mistake: Enzo's red tag hanging from his collar usually can be seen, but he did not appear to be wearing the red tag outside when Eve told Denny she was pregnant or when sitting in the bleachers with Eve at a race. (00:19:48 - 00:21:09)

Denny: And what if I don't win?
Don Kitch: There's no dishonor in losing the race, there's only dishonor in not racing because you're afraid to lose.
