Revealing mistake: During the car chase in San Francisco, Bond knocks off the hats of two men sitting in a white Cadillac when he is hanging from the ladder of the fire truck. You can tell this image is reversed as the steering wheel is on the right hand side of the car, and cars in the United States have steering wheels on the left hand side. (01:32:10)

Continuity mistake: During the chase between Bond and May Day on the Eiffel Tower, May Day turns around and whips a fishing line at Bond which sends him sprawling over the rail. When he is suspended upside down halfway over the railing you can see his legs are wide apart, but when he regains his balance and starts to unwind the line, his legs are now bound together. Continuity mistake: When Bond climbs out of the burning elevator to fetch the hose in order to rescue Stacey, you can see the two cables behind the elevator door are unlit, but after a quick cut to Stacey, we return to the door and the cables are now on fire. (01:26:40)

Continuity mistake: During the steeplechase sequence, Bond is attacked by one of Zorin's exercise boys wearing a yellow helmet. After a quick cut to Zorin looking over his shoulder, we return to Bond and he is now being attacked by a different rider with a dark green helmet, while the rider with the yellow helmet is now at the back of the pack. Revealing mistake: When Bond and Tibbitt are in the underground lab the big henchman takes out Tibbitt. When the henchman turns to take out Bond you can see Tibbitt in the background unconscious. It is not Patrick Macnee but a stunt double. (00:38:30)

Continuity mistake: When Bond puts the bearded guard on the conveyor belt in the warehouse, you can see there is nothing around him, but after a quick cut to Sir Godfrey, we return to the guard and he is now between two crates. (00:38:50)

Continuity mistake: When Zorin is explaining his plan to the men aboard the blimp he makes the model of Silicon Valley rise from a hidden compartment and dramatically gestures his arms upwards with his hands spread wide apart. Continuity mistake: At Stacey's house, Bond is sleeping with the gun in his lap. When Stacey enters with breakfast, the gun has changed position and he is now holding it upright. (01:18:00)

Continuity mistake: When one of Zorin's thugs pulls the shotgun out of Bond's hand at Stacey's mansion, you can see that Stacey is standing directly behind Bond on the staircase, but in the next shot she has now moved a few steps further up. (01:13:20)

Continuity mistake: When Stacey is running towards Bond after Zorin's plan to destroy Silicon Valley failed, his airship is gaining on her. When we see a view from the airship, Bond is on the grass and running on gravel, but when Zorin captures Stacey, Bond is back running on the grass again. (01:55:00)

Continuity mistake: When Bond is hanging on the mooring rope of Zorin's airship, we see a wide shot of the city and you can see that the top of the Golden Gate Bridge is covered in fog. But when the airship approaches the bridge seconds later, almost all of the fog has disappeared. (01:55:00)

Continuity mistake: When May Day is trying to calm Zorrin's horse at the racetrack, her red scarf is completely covering her hair. Camera changes to show a full face shot and it's no longer completely covering her hair. (00:14:50)

Visible crew/equipment: When Roger Moore is chasing Grace Jones in Paris, after the Eiffel Tower scene, he jumps off a bridge and onto a tourist barge passing along the River Seine. As he crashes through the glass roof, you can clearly see that it is a mannequin in a tuxedo. (00:20:05)
