Visible crew/equipment: When Pee Wee is chaining up his beloved bike you can see the long chain coming up through the bottom of the bike box. Full screen version only.
Revealing mistake: When all the kids are in the diner just before Chunk knocks over the water jug, Mikey starts to bang on the ground with a bar. When Brand stops him, Mikey calls him by his real name Josh. This is verified on the DVD by Sean Astin himself, in the commentary.
Continuity mistake: When Apollo is getting ready to fight the Russian boxer, he comes out with white boxing gloves on. Sometime during the announcement of the fighters, the camera shows Rocky and Apollo standing in Apollo's corner. Apollo is jumping up and down while pointing with an ungloved and untaped hand, He is saying "I want you". The next time they show Apollo, he has his gloves on again.
Continuity mistake: When Marty is being chased by the Libyans, a few times it cuts away to show the instrumentation in the car. The first time the odometer reads 33064.2 and the trip counter says 88.8; the second time it's goes back a little to 33061.8 and 86.4. A few seconds later we see it as he turns the corner, and it goes down again from 33,061.8 to 32,994.4, the trip counter has gone from 86.4 to 19. In fact it's a completely different set of instrumentation - the bottom of the needle's angled in some shots and flat in others.
Visible crew/equipment: Michael J. Fox is dancing on top of a bus as the Teen Wolf. The camera swings just a little too far toward the back of the bus and a police car that is escorting the camera car and bus is seen in the rear with its red lights going.
Other mistake: In one of the first scenes in the study, Mr. Boddy hands each guest a weapon and then proceeds to turn out the lights. The room is thrown into complete darkness. Unfortunately, there is a roaring fire in the fireplace that would have illuminated the room enough for everyone to see what was going on.
Continuity mistake: Near the end of the movie, when Parker and Hunt are on the bus going to the contest, you'll see that Parker's hair is in waves. But when she arrives at the studio, her hair is VERY curly. Its not likely that she had time to change her hairstyle THAT drastically if she was pressed for time as she very clearly was.
Continuity mistake: When Anne takes the gift from Rachel and leaves, a couple of moments later you can see the red-wrapped package is still sitting on the table next to Rachel.
Continuity mistake: After Molly Ringwald does her trick, she puts the lipstick away twice. It has a shot of her putting it away from the front and then another one from the back.
Other mistake: Mister cooks Shug Avery a breakfast of grits, biscuits and ham, and takes it to her room. She throws the breakfast against the wall. The breakfast leave a bright yellow and bright red stain on the wall. There was nothing on the tray that could have left those colors on the wall.
Other mistake: When Rocky is in the funhouse looking at himself, he appears to look relatively "normal". But it's very obvious that it's got nothing to do with the mirror, and more to do with the removal of a lot of makeup. For example, Rocky usually has almost no nose, but in the mirror he has Eric Stoltz's very well developed nose.
Continuity mistake: Towards the end of the film, during the chase scene between the newspaper boy and Lane, you can see the skis of the camera guy.
Continuity mistake: Glenn Close's outfit changes four times during the same courtroom scene, while she is giving her opening statement in front of the jury.
Continuity mistake: When Fletch and Stanwyk first meet and Stanwyk asks Fletch to come to his home and hear his proposal, Stanwyk is wearing a suit/tie on top but is wearing jeans on the bottom. In the next wide shot as they leave the beach, and again in the next scene as they arrive at Stanwyk's house, he is wearing suit pants.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning, Hull watches as Eastwood beats up the guys in town. When Hull gets up on the wagon, his hands are fine, but in the next scene he has a bandage, I believe, on his left hand. Then the bandage is gone again and reappears soon after.
Continuity mistake: When Denys and Karen go to bed together, she takes his tie off. The scene is cut and then his tie is on again.
Other mistake: When the nude girl first comes back to life as a zombie there is a shot of rain falling and smoke swirling. The shot plays forward, then clearly reverses for a second or two before playing forward again. The rain falls up and the smoke reverses direction.
Revealing mistake: In one scene, when Jack is in the dungeon talking to the fairy, you can clearly see that the "fairy" is nothing more than a light on a thin piece of wire. The wire can be seen quite clearly for two shots.
Revealing mistake: In the scene where Captain Mowser gets his hands glued to his head, he walks out into the locker room naked. In wide shots, you can see that he is wearing a nude coloured body suit.
Continuity mistake: After Manny's fingers get crunched between the cars, blood sprays on his face. In the next couple of scenes there is hardly any there. Also, when the prison warden get sprayed with the fire extinquisher he is cleaned up in the following shots.
Continuity mistake: After a long car chase about mid-way through the film, the camera pans over the highway littered with smashed cars and hundreds of cars piled up. In the middle of this, you see a van painted a little like the Partridge Family bus....definately a one of a kind van. Then you see footage of the car which escaped the chase going down an empty side street and passes the same van. No way there are two vans like this one.
Continuity mistake: During the final chase scene where Melanie Kinnamin is running through the woods the pink sweater which is over her shoulders disappears and reappears at random, until she finally loses it by the tree where her co-worker is found murdered.
Revealing mistake: When Gary and Wyatt come home and see Chet turned into a pile of poo, Chet shoots his tongue from his mouth and catches a fly. Look closely, the tongue flies completely out of his mouth and is attached to a metal spring.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the movie during the helicopter chase scene, there are two different makes of car used - a four door Nova and a two door Buick.
Plot hole: When Fitz-Hume and Millbarge disguise themselves as aliens in order to distract the mobile launcher crew, where exactly did they get the foil they are wearing? Except for the satellite dish Millbarge wears on his head, no parts of their code transmitter can have been used or the thing would be of no further use, and it is very unlikely that either of the two spy groups brought any of the foil along.
