Continuity mistake: When Steve and 2012 Steve fall down to a lower level of the building during their fight, they break a couple of glass barriers and floors, causing loads of shattered glass to surround them when they land. The compass with Peggy's picture is shown on the ground with glass surrounding it. The amount of glass shown around the compass changes between shots. (01:22:50)

Suggested correction: This doesn't seem to be a mistake as it would require a side-by-side comparison with the original film. Within the context of this film, everything fits.

Exactly. You could maybe get away with submitting this as a Deliberate Mistake, but since it's a scene from another movie being shown from a different perspective, it doesn't need to play our exactly as it did the first time. We'd just be watching that exact same scene from the other movie then.

THGhost

No. The angle doesn't matter when the lines are delivered at a different rate.

Continuity mistake: When Steve starts fighting 2012 Steve, he places the case containing Loki's sceptre on the ground. He then starts to run towards 2012 Steve, leaving the case far behind him. The two then start fighting hand to hand, and the case is suddenly right beside them. (01:22:30)

Continuity mistake: When Quill is fighting two of Thanos' henchmen, he is shown with a blaster in both of his hands. The second henchman is shot by Gamora and collapses on top of Quill. Continuity mistake: The first time period the film cuts to after the quantum jump is New York 2012, and shows the clip of the six original Avengers assembled for the first time, forming a circle, as seen in the 2012 film, It then cuts to new footage from this film - an overhead shot of the original team that then pans over to the alley where the future versions arrive. In the original footage, to Hulk's left and in front of Hawkeye are two overturned cars, then a couple of cabs in a row. However, in the overhead shot, in this spot there is just a bunch of rubble from the damaged streets, and a single car right-side up, and no cabs where they should be. Also, there should probably be pieces of a leviathan creature lying around too since Iron Man blew one up just before they formed up. In the original film the creature crashed and then fell over the side of the raised road onto the lower road. But nothing indicating this is visible in the overhead shot. (01:07:25)

Factual error: New Asgard is in Tonsberg, Norway, but was filmed in Scotland. The truck Hulk and Rocket use to get there has a UK licence plate (SW61 5PN), whereas Norwegian plates use two letters followed by 4 or 5 numbers. Plus the pizza boxes in Thor's house have a phone number in UK format (01632 960776) not Norwegian. In fact, the 01632 area code is specifically designated for fictional use in the UK. Norwegian telephone numbers use fewer digits. (00:48:50)

Question: What happened to Loki? Does this mean he's now alive?

MikeH

Answer: The Loki from the original timeline is dead, but the 2013 Loki that is imprisoned on Asgard is presumably alive and well, and the 2012 Loki that escaped with the Tesseract is alive and supposedly, this version of the character will be the focus of his own upcoming Disney+ series.

Phaneron

Answer: The Loki who escaped is in a different timeline, so he will not encounter the "main" versions of the characters. This version of Loki will appear in the new series.
