Continuity mistake: When Ms. Gradenko and Juni play tug of war with the backpack at the safehouse, the way each of them holds the backpack differs in each of the shots. (00:39:40)
Revealing mistake: When the BuddyPack zooms toward Ms. Gradenko at the safehouse it lifts her into the air and she flies backwards. In the shot facing her, the center bar of the wicker frame on the back of the bench is gone for the stunt, whereas in the previous shots it's intact. (00:40:00)
Revealing mistake: The wicker bench in front of the coffee table changes position in quite a few shots, but none more noticeable than when the BuddyPack flies straight at Ms. Gradenko. When she moans, "What's wrong with you? They're just children," it's directly in front of the table, but in the next shot as Ms. Gradenko is lifted off her feet, the bench is moved towards the center for the stunt. (00:40:05)
Continuity mistake: The handcuff with the broken chain that is stuck on Juni's wrist, actually changes its position to the opposite way, while on the same wrist, in some shots the single bar faces out and in others the double bar faces out. For example, when Juni speaks into his watch and says, "I'm toast!" the double bar faces out, yet in the park when Juni spins as robo-Carmen approaches him, the single bar faces out. Continuity mistake: When Carmen chases the man with the Third Brain, the large Spanish billboard for the Floop's Fooglies show advertises the "best show for children" to be on channel 36 at 8:00am. When Minion turns Gregorio into a Fooglie, Minion tells him and Ingrid that their kids will still be able to see their father, "Every weekday morning between 7:30 and 8:00." (00:41:15 - 01:05:20)
Revealing mistake: After Carmen rescues Juni, as they fly over the city she says, "Hang on butterfingers." In the following close-ups, where is the handcuff with the broken chain on Juni's wrist? He is not wearing it on either wrist in any of these close-ups. It's obviously back in the following shots. (00:41:45)
Revealing mistake: After Carmen rescues Juni, they fly over the city and she yells, "I'm not gonna drop you!" Before Carmen drops Juni, as she loses her grip of him and he slips, three of the BuddyPack harness straps around Carmen actually come apart from the fourth center locking mechanism in the close-up!! Needless to say once the harness unlocks the powerful BuddyPack would immediately fly off and Carmen would fall, she would never even have the chance to reattach the four point harness. (00:41:50)
Continuity mistake: The exterior shots of the clothing store Ukressa, that Carmen and Juni fly into, show the storefront and a good portion of the sidewalk to be in shadow, yet in the interior shots as they and the Thumb Thumbs fly in, there is bright sun streaming in through all the windows and doors. Revealing mistake: When Carmen and Juni fly into the clothing store, the door opens for them, but when the Thumb Thumbs get to the door, the door doesn't open for them. (00:42:10)
Continuity mistake: When Carmen and Juni fly into the clothing store, Carmen drops her brother between clothing racks. Directly beside the mannequin there is a square shaped rack and two large circular racks to the left, which have no signs attached. However, when Carmen and Juni walk toward the entrance, as they pass the mannequin the square rack is gone and now there are two silver framed store signs attached to the center of the circular racks. Continuity mistake: When Carmen and Juni go into the clothing store, a Thumb Thumb hits the door. Moments later, the clothes trolley goes flying out of the door. It should have run into the unconscious Thumb Thumb, but the Thumb Thumb is gone. (00:42:15)
Continuity mistake: When the Thumb Thumbs fly out of the clothing store chasing after the clothing rack, the rack is hit by a red car, then topples over, and they are about two feet apart while both are within the lines of the crosswalk. However, in the next overhead shot they are quite far apart from each other and both, especially the car, are a considerable distance away from that crosswalk. (00:42:25)
Continuity mistake: In the opening shot of San Diablo, the overhead shot zooms in on an entirely empty rectangular grassy area with several trees lined up on two opposite sides and a monument at the center. In the following ground shots the area is completely different, and is now filled with many trees, playground equipment, children, etc. (00:45:35)
Continuity mistake: When Juni and Carmen sit in the park, as Carmen holds the locating device, Juni holds the Floop and Fooglie figures and starts to set them down. In the next shot, the Fooglie is already down, but Juni now holds the Third Brain, its small sack with the long cords and Floop. The position of the backpack changes between shots as well. (00:45:45)
Continuity mistake: At the park, when Carmen turns over the locating device to see who makes it, in the shots facing her the black cord is in her hand, yet in the close-ups of the locating device it's behind her hand. (00:45:55)
Continuity mistake: When Juni is about to slam the Third Brain into the cement at the park, Carmen grabs his arm to stop him. In some shots Carmen has the handcuff chain in her firm grasp as she holds Juni, but in other shots the chain is free. (00:46:20)
Revealing mistake: When Carmen and Juni are going to Machete's shop they arrive in a cab. When they get out you see and hear the cab screech off, but if you look in the window of Machete's shop, across the street, you see the reflection of the cab speed up, but then quickly slow down when out of camera shot. Visible crew/equipment: After Carmen and Juni arrive at Machete's Spy Shop, as the taxi pulls away, the boom mic's reflection is clearly visible on the right side of the back window and a crew member's reflection is visible on the left side. (00:50:45)
Continuity mistake: When Juni and Carmen walk into Machete's shop, the items on Machete's desk differ between the shots facing him and the shots facing them. (00:51:05)
Continuity mistake: The size of "The World's Smallest Camera" changes sizes. In the shop when Machete is working on it Juni can't see it from several feet away. However, when Juni is sticking them on the walls in Floop's castle we can see one on the wall from about 12 feet away. Then when Carmen asks him what he was doing he holds up a bag of them and we see that they are about a centimeter in diameter. (00:51:15 - 01:01:00)
