Sliding Doors (1998)

Continuity mistake: When Helen catches her boyfriend in the act, we see very briefly that there is a gap between the bedside cabinet on which the radio cassette player is sitting and the wardrobe. This is more clear when her boyfriend switches off the music. Later when the other Helen comes home and her boyfriend leaps onto the bed to hide the earring we see they are much closer. Granted Helen now has two parallel lives but that can't explain the change. (00:11:55 - 00:15:20)

Suggested correction: The fact that the "other Helen" is a different timeline easily explains the difference. In one timeline the cabinet is closer to the bed than in the other. There'd need to be evidence of the gap being different in the same timeline for it to be a continuity mistake.

Factual error: At the beginning, when Helen is running for her train, the station signs clearly say Embankment. However the type of train that she misses/catches is specific to the Waterloo & City Line, which only runs between Bank and Waterloo - it doesn't go anywhere near Embankment!

Lydia: Gerry, I'm a woman! We don't say what we want! But we reserve the right to get pissed off if we don't get it. That's what makes us so fascinating! And not a little bit scary.

Trivia: The scene with Helen and James on the boat where he describes losing his 8 yr old girlfriend to Gary Glitter has a certain unplanned tastelessness to it now since Mr Glitter was convicted of possessing child porn a few years later.
