Revealing mistake: Throughout the film, the characters can be seen to impossibly pivot on the rigging suspending them in the air in a manner inconsistent with zero-g as they move through the space station.

Revealing mistake: One actor played the roles of the twins. At the mental hospital, there were subtle but noticeable differences between the way Derek's bangs were combed to the right (flatter with no loose ends sticking out) and he had a small section of hair raised near the back of his part. When Derek left as Tyler, he still had Tyler's more jagged bangs and no raised section of hair near the back of his part. It's against the odds that the twins would have the exact same facial hair/haircut on visiting day. (00:17:45 - 00:20:20)
Revealing mistake: When Hennessy is confronting McGrath, he shoots 3 bullets from his pistol and also hits him in the face with the butt of the gun. There is no magazine/clip in the pistol. (01:19:30)

Revealing mistake: When Jon and Ponch are giving chase to the bikers after spotting them from the overpass, they are cutting through by going down the slope, dangerous and steep. Despite being such a daring move, there are already multiple tire tracks on their path. (00:40:25)
Revealing mistake: When The Ray lands on the ground regrouping with the other Freedom Fighters, there is a bridge behind him with many civilians walking in the background. The animators took an obvious shortcut here as the civilians in the background just consist of the sprites of about 5-7 different people just repeated over and over again all in their same poses on each copy as they move. One especially noticeable one is a kid walking in an olive gray shirt with his arms up right next to himself over and over again. (00:01:45)
Revealing mistake: When Banderas and co set ablaze the SUV dropping the flaming sofa on it, the man coming out of it is wearing a full fire retardant suit. (00:38:35)
Revealing mistake: As the train approaches and stands in Brod Station, it becomes rather obvious that the smoke emitted by the steam locomotive is "painted in" by computer. It does not move or change shape as real smoke would. A shame, as the steam effects earlier in the film are very realistic.
Revealing mistake: When the police are going through the closed circuit video where the little girl sees Freeman's face, one cop says to freeze the video. It stops a fraction of a second before he says anything.
Revealing mistake: When Mae is on the phone with her parents, there is a camera feed shown of the parents, and in the bottom right hand corner, a camera feed of Mae. When Mae is holding the phone, her hand is visibly seen shaking and readjusts the phone at numerous points, the camera feed of her shown on the phone remains completely still throughout the call. Revealing mistake: Right at the beginning of the movie, an alien blasts Lieutenant Smalls and he drops his rifle. The weapon wobbles, revealing it's a rubber prop rifle. (00:01:55)
Revealing mistake: Xiang storms the CIA headquarters at the beginning of the movie and fights off a dozen of agents and executives. Check out the moment when Toni Collette comically pokes her head from under the table and Donnie Yen kicks two agents. The second agent is charging at him with his fist raised, but blatantly stops with no guard raised, waiting to be spin-kicked into oblivion. He was also seen hopping up but when they get blasted away it's the burly Asian guy who is level with Donnie Yen, not him. (00:09:35)
Revealing mistake: At the beginning as Noah's vehicle is reaching the edge of New America, there is a shot of a drone swooping down over a hill to follow him. As the drone comes onto screen, there is dust and debris animated to come up at the camera as it blows around its environment. However this small bit of superimposed bad special effects is the only thing it seems to affect. It swoops down right next to some tall dead grass and other plants, on a dusty hill. But not one item of the real environment is blown or even moves in the slightest from this drone passing by it from inches away. (00:01:30)
Revealing mistake: When Richard and Stan are driving across the desert, there is a shot of Stan driving the SUV. The number plate and Range Rover logo appear to be reversed and the driver seat is shown on the right hand side instead of the left hand side, revealing that the shot has been flipped. (01:04:40)
Revealing mistake: The bartender (Kateryna Korchynska) offers Ethan two lattes on the house. She hands them to him, and he walks out. No opacity from the liquid can be seen inside the plastic cups, and when he is moving away from the counter he leans forward quite a bit, showing the inside of the cups, squeaky clean. (00:08:00)
Revealing mistake: A "green screen" was obviously used at the restaurant (all-you-can-eat buffet). For example, the people supposedly seated in the booth behind Greg's mom were sometimes literally back-to-back with her - there was no back of the booth between them! They were also larger (closer).
Revealing mistake: At the Laramie Public Library, the bookshelves behind Charley and his Aunt Margy are obviously fake. The rows are diagonal but not parallel plus the end caps are almost vertical (not angled like the shelves are made to appear). Also, the middle and right side rows are too close together for anyone to be able to walk between and browse. (01:50:17)
