Continuity mistake: In the scene at the end of the film when the Z-Boys finally get to skate in Sid's empty pool, the skateboard that is left on the steps changes position every other shot. When the guys first get into the pool, it is facing board-side out. In the next shot, it is facing wheel-side out. Then it alternates back and forth until the end of the scene.
Continuity mistake: When Beowulf enters the water cave and seeing Grendel's body, the initial shot has his right arm sitting next to him (most likely placed there after his mother's took it from the Meat Hall). When Beowulf leans over to touch Grendel's chest, the arm is gone.
Visible crew/equipment: Near the very end of the film when Tommy Lee Jones is standing in the ruined building surveying the scene where Melquiades is to be buried, a crew member in a blue shirt can be seen crouching down against the wall in the background.
Continuity mistake: Livy is planting a garden when snow starts falling. As she runs into the house, notice the chimney aligned with the left edge of the roof. Ten seconds later the roof is covered with snow and the chimney has moved about 1 meter to the right. (01:11:30)
Continuity mistake: In the beginning, the bride's mother puts a clip in her younger daughter's hair, but, in the next shot, the clip is gone.
Factual error: In the scene where Brian gets fired from The Rolling Stones, Keith Richards sees a live album Jimi Hendrix and mentions it, Brian says Hendrix sent him one. But this scene must have taken place in 1969: Hendrix hadn't released any live albums earlier than 1970.
Continuity mistake: In the deer scene the deer breaks the window but the next shot shows the window unbroken.
Factual error: Toward the end of the film, when Gary is riding a bus from Wyoming through Nebraska he should be traveling towards the east. As the bus pulls away from the stop near Loma, Nebraska the sun is on the left side of the bus, indicating that it is traveling to the west.
Continuity mistake: When Mikey gets the job to kill Nisha the sun changes between shots.
Continuity mistake: During the chase after John witnesses a woman get kidnapped, one of the thugs shoots out of the driver's side headlight of his blue van. A couple of shots later, the headlight is back in and it's there for the rest of the chase.
Continuity mistake: At lunchtime, only Martha has a large drink with a red straw, but some views show a second red straw behind hers. In the distant view when lunch is almost over, there is only one red straw/drink on the table. (00:06:27 - 00:07:28)
Continuity mistake: After Suit finds the body on the rocky shore, it cuts to the police sedan that Jesse is driving. However, in the shots from inside Jesse's vehicle, as Jesse passes storefront windows, the reflections reveal that Jesse is actually driving an SUV-type vehicle down the street. (00:01:50)
Continuity mistake: In the arm-wrestling scene, one second their arms are to the side, but then, from above, their arms are in the middle, above the line, but then their arms are to the side again.
