Continuity mistake: When Beowulf enters the water cave and seeing Grendel's body, the initial shot has his right arm sitting next to him (most likely placed there after his mother's took it from the Meat Hall). When Beowulf leans over to touch Grendel's chest, the arm is gone.

Audio problem: In the scene where James Bond and Wai Lin are introduced to Mr. Carver and Mr. Stamper, Carver says that when Stamper removes Bond's heart, " there should be just enough time for him to watch it stop beating". While saying this, he turns to walk towards his desk and his lips don't move at all. His quote was obviously added in post-production.

Suggested correction: This mistake actually occurs about a minute earlier, when Carver says "I'll leave you in the capable hands of Mr. Stamper and his toys." Precisely, when "Mr. Stamper" and the rest of the line is uttered, Carver turns to the side and is not saying anything.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Jake and Jane are in the bar sharing a drink, Jake's hands are seated on the bar top as he speaks. As the film cuts to a closer shot of the two, his right hand is not only raised off the bar, but is holding his drink which had previously been sitting close to his left hand.

Matilda (1996)

Continuity mistake: When Trunchbull teaches the class for the first time, the clock above the chalkboard reads 10 minutes to the hour. After approx. four minutes of filming, the clock now reads 10 minutes after the hour. There is no chance that the scene, depicting a single continuous event, would have taken 20 minutes.
