Continuity mistake: The close up shot shows Nedra lowering her head onto White's chest. The next shot is a long shot of her lowering her head on his chest again.
Continuity mistake: After the horse race with Sam, Elsa and Sam are talking with bright high sun and shadows on Elsa's face. Moments later the the sun is low on the horizon in clouds. Then later in the same scene the sun is high and the strong shadows are on her face again.
Continuity mistake: While Gene plays guitar and sings "Back In The Saddle Again," a close-up shows the chuck wagon cook waving his ladle back and forth in time with the music. In the following long shot, the cook is leaning over and dipping the ladle into a stew pot.
Continuity mistake: Lucas, Micah and Joe are riding to the home of Old Tony and the sleeves of Lucas' long-sleeved shirt are rolled up. In a long shot, as Tony watches the men approach, Lucas' sleeves are down. In the following close-up, the sleeves are rolled up.

Continuity mistake: After the Captain and Corporal get out of the cave, they see the Sarge and Jane have ropes on Black Devil. He gets away with their ropes around his neck. He peeks around the rock, and the ropes are suddenly gone. The mare comes after with a rope on her neck that also disappears magically between angles.
Continuity mistake: During the ambush, young Jack, on horseback, takes off after the wagon which is carrying his wounded fiancé. The chase is long including a cut away and yet the wagon winds up only yards away from the ambush where the chase began.
Continuity mistake: During the street fight, Gene Barry's stunt double wears a shaggy wig that gets badly disheveled in the brawl. In the intercut close-ups of "Bat" throwing punches, however, Barry's hair is short and neatly groomed. (00:06:00)

Continuity mistake: Roy is visited by a deputy marshal who is looking for the son of a local storekeeper. When the two men leave to visit the storekeeper, Roy leaves his hat on the kitchen table, but when he enters the store the hat is on his head.
Continuity mistake: When the Man in Black wakes up with a noose around his neck, there are only 4 distinct loops in the hangman's knot. A few seconds later, he cuts the rope and collapses to the ground, and there are now 6 distinct loops in the hangman's knot.
