However, Goku's story mode begins with Grandpa Gohan challenging him exactly like in the movie "First one to touch the ground loses", which is really out of place since they fight...on the ground, all the time, unlike the movie.

Other mistake: In the ending of the game (and the instruction manual of the English version), the names of two enemies (Ostro, who looks like an Ostrich, and Birdo, the cross-dressing dinosaur known as Catherine in the Japanese version) are switched. The mistake was not fixed even in the SNES remake.
