Beyond Good and Evil: Part 4 - S4-E11

Continuity mistake: The end of the episode shows Xavier standing with no assistance. The only time in the series that the use of his legs were restored were a side effect of him losing his powers. He has his powers in this scene, so there's not really any reason for him to suddenly have the use of his legs back. (00:19:15)

Have Yourself a Morlock Little Christmas - S4-E12

Other mistake: Rogue states that this is Jubilee's first Christmas as an X-Man. However, Jubilee was already a member of the X-Men when Senator Kelly declared his candidacy for President in season 1, and the season 2 premiere episode showed him being sworn-in as President. Election Day is in November and the President is sworn-in in January, so Jubilee should have already had at least one Christmas as a member of the X-Men. (00:02:00)

The Lotus and the Steel - S4-E13

Revealing mistake: The footage of Jubilee flying off in the mini-jet is recycled footage of her flying Colossus back to Russia from the season 4 episode "Red Dawn." You can even make out Colossus' silhouette in the window over the passenger seat in one shot, even though Jubilee is supposed to be by herself. (00:07:35)

Answer: It appears a number of factors led to its demise. It was originally intended to air for 65 episodes, but its popularity extended that. However, there were continual production quality problems, issues regarding whether the content was suitable enough for children, as well as financial considerations that finally led to it being ended.
