In the episode "Mindy Loves Josh," when Josh is telling Drake that Mindy told him she loves him and when Josh slaps Drake near the end of the scene, it is really obvious that Josh is slapping air. In the episode Tree House, Megan says Mom and Dad went out to dinner with the Schneiders. This is a reference to the director of the show Dan Schneider.
In "Helicopter", the name on the tail of the helicopter is Schneider. This is a reference to producer Dan Schneider.
If you look closely at all the outdoor shots of the Premiere (and you can sometimes catch a glimpse during indoor scenes), the movies playing there remain the same for the entire season and the new ones are added when the new season begins.
In the episode/movie "Really Big Shrimp" it shows an external shot of The Premiere but instead of having fake movie titles it says "Now She's Carly", a reference to how Miranda Cosgrove is getting her own show on Nick, "iCarly."
Guitar (series 1)
The outside of the megadome is the same shot from "A Night at the Roxbury", which is used for the Roxbury club.
Dune Buggy (series 1)
In this episode when Drake and Josh are watching TV, you can hear an old sketch from 'The Amanda Show' (1999). Both stars appeared on 'The Amanda Show' before moving on to 'Drake and Josh.'
Paging Dr. Drake (series 2)
When Josh has the broken foot, the hospital he goes to is called St. Schneider's. This is a reference to the show's director, Dan Schneider.
The Drake and Josh Inn (series 2)
The hotel that Drake and Josh's parents are staying at is called The Four Schneiders, another reference to director Dan Schneider (and a parody of The Four Seasons).
