Continuity mistake: After Batman has been hit by Marsha's love dart, when Robin pulls the dart out and then begs Batman to resist it, in these semi closeups note Burt Ward's uncovered forearm with his still-healing burn wound. Then, while the Dynamic Duo fight Marsha's sabre wielding goons, Marsha hits Robin with another one of her darts and orders him to attack Batman. When this happens, Burt Ward's forearm now has a compression bandage around the wound. (00:13:55)

Continuity mistake: In part 1, Marsha's prisoners included the mayor. Here, Batman rescues Robin, Gordon and O'Hara - but the mayor has disappeared. And oddly, no one mentions his ever having been there. (00:05:05)

No one's had time to move either of them, but when Andy comes into the saloon in the next shot, Robin has somehow shifted positions on the floor: he's not in the same spot or position he originally fell in. Continuity mistake: When Okie Annie shoots the chandelier over Batman and Robin, they both are dazed by it. But Shame only whacks Batman over the head with the chair before he falls unconscious. Continuity mistake: When the Dynamic Duo goes up the Bat Pole chute, the NEGATE COSTUME CHANGE lever is down. When they come down as Dick and Bruce, the lever is up, and Robin pulls it down to stop the instant change back to Dick and Bruce.

Continuity mistake: In the Batcave, Batman is holding Puzzler's pink balloon while he and Robin deduce its clues. The shot cuts to a wider angle when they turn to race to the Batmobile, and the balloon disappears. (00:12:50)

Continuity mistake: As the batfight ends and one of Sandman's henchmen hits Batman with a bolt of cloth, he goes down and is buried with mattresses on the right side. But when they remove the mattresses to wake him up, he is facing forward.

Continuity mistake: After the Mad Hatter's spray turns Batman's cowl pink, Batman and Robin are shown in the Batmobile, headed back to the Batcave. The stock shot shows Batman wearing his regular blue cowl while inside the car. Once they get to the Batcave, Batman's cowl is pink again.

Continuity mistake: Joker's floating zap-wand is hanging in the air right in front of Chief O'Hara's face. But when the shot cuts, it's instantly ten feet away, and is now floating behind the Joker. (00:01:45)
Answer: It's wasn't unusual for multiple actors to play one character on this show. The villains on the TV Batman were played by guest stars, not regular cast members. George Sanders, Otto Preminger, and Eli Wallach played the part at various times. They may simply have only wanted to play the part once or twice, or they were later tied up with other projects, making it necessary to cast someone else. Other characters, like Catwoman, were also played by more than one actress.
