Show generally

Revealing mistake: In the episode "Hoofs And Goofs" (1957), just as Birdie (Moe in drag) is coming out of the kitchen, a fake Moe's face is revealed from the side as he's walking away (used to replace Moe since the real Moe was playing Birdie in the same frame).

Show generally

Revealing mistake: In the episode "Disorder in the Court" (1936), Moe and Larry start playing Tic Tac Toe on the prosecutor's chair with chalk and Moe first puts "X" on the upper left square. The prosecutor then sits down on the chair and when then standing up to object, the marks which copies on to his jacket from behind don't match. The "X" is gone and shows an "O" in that square where it should have copied the "X".

Show generally

Revealing mistake: In the shorts "In the Sweet Pie and Pie", and "Disorder in the Court", when there is stunt to be done that would hurt Curly, the stunt double is easily identified.
