Mistakes
During the sequence where the Ichabod and The Horseman are fighting on top of the carriage, it's quite obvious that the two horses Masbeth and Katrina are riding keep changing colour. Sometimes they are both dark brown but sometimes Katrina's is dark brown and Masbeth's is white. See more...

Even though Christopher Walken plays the Horseman (when he has his head), Walken did not know how to ride a horse, and as such, a mechanical horse was required for all of his riding shots. This is seen in the "Making Of" on the DVD. See more...
When Ichabod first sees the cut on the Widow Winship's stomach, it looks to be quite shallow, but when he is performing his autopsy, the cut is much deeper.
