After his crash, Max is hiding behind a rock. He draws his shotgun out, and you can see he has no glove on his right hand. Then the interceptor explodes, and he shields his face with his right hand, which now has a glove on it. See more...

Trivia

One of the more spectacular stunts in the film was a terrible accident. When one of the raiders is on a motorcycle, he hits a car, flies off the bike, hits his legs on the car and starts cartwheeling through the air. This was a real accident, the intended stunt was to just have the stunt man fly over the top the car without hitting it. Instead the stuntman hit his legs on it, but it just looked so spectacular that they kept it in the movie. The stuntman broke his leg badly, but survived. See more...

Mad Max 2

Continuity: The one shot that shows Max's car approaching and colliding with the rear of the landau coupe in the opening chase scene is reversed. The car has one door mirror on the driver's side (right) but here we see the mirror on the left, as is the car's driver. The blower's belt is on the right side when it should be on the left.
