Factual error: After Bud's conversation with Gordon in the park he goes to a restaurant bathroom. The agents are waiting for him. He open his shirt, they rip the tape recorder off of him then immediately begin to play the conversation. It picks up right where the evidence is. No one had time to rewind the tape. (01:58:45)

Continuity mistake: After Bud asks Carl for money at the bar, a friend comes up and Carl shakes his hand. At this time Carl doesn't have glasses on. Bud then asks Carl "How's work been treatin' you." When he asks this the camera angle is over Carl's shoulder and he has glasses on. Then in a front shot, the glasses are in his hand, but there was not enough time for him to take them off. Continuity mistake: When Flynn and Crom are playing the Ring Game, Flynn's first throw knocks out the 3rd ring from Crom's playing surface. In the closeup shot of Crom they show the outermost ring disappearing when the ball actually hit the 3rd ring. (00:40:20)

Other mistake: When Elliot the genius homosexual and Allison arrive at his apartment he hangs her wrap on the arm of the statue. He then begins to take off his overcoat and hangs it on the other arm. Continuity mistake: Tron sends his memory disk to talk to Alan. After Tron communicates with his user Alan1, Alan sends him back the disk with new data on it to destroy the MCP. When Tron receives the disk it is like a Frisbee, solid on the top and hollow on the bottom. When he receives the disk the hollow part is on the bottom. He holds the disk in front of him and starts talking about "the key to the new order". The shot changes and the disk has been reversed, hollow side toward him and solid side away from him. He did not have time to rotate the disk. (01:08:10)

Factual error: When Elliot is the sensitive guy he picks up the guitar to sing a song to Allison. The guitar has a capo on it. During the song Elliot is changing cords and finger placement. He makes a cord above the capo. This would not be possible since the capo effectively cuts off the strings at the point of the capo. Any finger movement above the capo would not change the chord at all. (00:43:00)

Revealing mistake: During the opening sequence we see a lot of things happening very quickly and sped up. Everything is going in a progressive direction, not going backwards. As the sun rises in San Francisco a clock on a building is shown. The hands on the clock are going backwards instead of forwards. This was shot at dusk, not dawn, then reversed. (00:02:25)

Continuity mistake: After Gordo and Jim are captured in Pakistan they are at a table in a drinking contest. Jim chugs a bottle of liquor until it is almost gone. When he starts to put the bottle down there is still liquor in the bottle. As he sets the bottle down the shot changes and the bottle is empty. (01:20:10)

Continuity mistake: The magical moving bottle: After Freddy gets picked up by child services, Gordy is down in the basement working on his drawings. Jim comes down and is drunk. He sets a bottle of Wild Turkey in the middle of the drawings in the middle of the little table. A few seconds later the bottle has moved to the edge of the table so that Jim can pick up the drawings, criticize them then tear them up. (00:54:10)

Continuity mistake: When Jim Brody confronts Darren outside of the bank to find where Gordy went, he kicks his cast to get him to talk. Jim kicks the cast multiple times. As the shots change we can see crumbled bits of cast fall to the ground, then the ground is clean, then the bits of cast are on the ground again. At the end of the scene, the ground is clean. Continuity mistake: When Jim destroys the half-pipe the level of destruction varies from shot to shot. After he drives through it it looks completely flattened. The next shot shows a 1/4 section of it survived. The following shot shows a different 1/4 section of the ramp survived. The last and parting shot shows the 1/4 section that survived in an earlier shot. (00:48:50)

Continuity mistake: When Amelia takes the "Sorry Phone Out of Order" sticker and sticks it to Viktor's shirt, it changes position in subsequent shots. She stuck it to his shirt with the sticker centered on the buttons of his shirt. In the next shot, the sticker is has the edge of the sticker over the buttons of the shirt and is not totally stuck to his shirt. After he saves her from falling on the wet floor, the sticker is once again centered and totally stuck to his shirt. (00:48:45)

Continuity mistake: When Viktor and Amelia are talking about Napoleon in Border's Viktor is cleaning her glasses. He hands them back to her and she takes them with her right hand. A split second later in the next shot she has the glasses in her left hand and is grabbing them with her right hand. She did not have time to move them to her left hand after grabbing them. Continuity mistake: After Viktor has to resort to eating crackers and sauce again, Amelia waves in his direction. After he stands up, her boyfriend Max bumps into him and knocks the cracker sandwich out of his hand. We can see the splat of sauce on the ground with broken crackers mixed in. A few seconds later they have a shot of Viktor looking down at his spilled lunch and the crackers, which are whole, and sauce look much different than they did in the previous shot. (00:36:40)

Continuity mistake: When Viktor is making his cracker sandwich he makes the mustard layer in the center of the napkin. This can be seen in he closeup shot. When the camera switches to a wide shot the mustard layer has moved to the corner of the napkin. (00:36:10)

Continuity mistake: When Viktor is making his cracker sandwich we see a closeup shot with a lot of packs of ketchup, relish and mustard in front of the mustard and cracker layer he just made. Continuity mistake: When the officer is trying to take Viktor's passport, Viktor's grip changes position on the passport from one shot to the next. The first shot he is gripping it more to the middle of the passport with his fingers underneath and in the last shot he is gripping it at the corner with his finger down the edge. (00:04:45)

Continuity mistake: As the CBP agent is explaining the bag of chips and the apple, Viktor says "Big Apple, Big Apple". Look at the desk and it is perfectly clean. There are no crumbs on the desk. Just before the CBP agent slams the apple onto the chips we can now see a few crumbs already on the desk. (00:06:25)

Continuity mistake: Based on shootings and other events in the film the marionettes do bleed when they are shot or attacked. Hans Blix should bleed when he is attacked by the sharks, but there is no blood in the water.
