XXX (2002)

Corrected entry: In the scene with the avalanche, it would not be possible to outrun one. You would have to be snowboarding at at least 300mph.

Correction: The average avalanche travels at 60-80 mph (see: www.avalanche.org/~uac/Common-questions.html). Sure, that's probably faster than the snowboard was moving, but he did have a head start. The avalanche could have been moving much slower than that, the slowest recorded avalanche only moved at about 2 mph (see:www.weathernotebook.org/transcripts/1999/02/18.html).

Corrected entry: General Korrd says that Klingon paradise is called Qui'Tu. But in DS9 we learn Klingon paradise is called Sto Vo Kohr.

Grumpy Scot

Correction: There are a lot of names for paradise in English, why is it so hard to believe there are more than one in Klingon? Furthermore, the word isn't for paradise, it's for the origin of life (i.e. Eden).

Corrected entry: In the scene after Jack saves Elizabeth from drowning, he cuts the corset from her stomach and the soldiers make the comment "I never would have thought of that". Afterwards, Jack says, "Clearly you have never been to Singapore". Pirates of the Caribbean took place in the 1720's and Singapore was only discovered during the 1800's.

Correction: No, Singapore was only established as a British trading port in the 1800s. It has been a well-known place since the 14th century. See: http://inic.utexas.edu/asnic/countries/singapore/Singapore-History.html.

Corrected entry: When Phantom was at the zeppelin warehouse/factory and the scientist told him the zeppelins are filled with hydrogen, Phantom shot one of the zeppelins and it exploded in flames, the fire should be blue in colour instead of orange because pure hydrogen gas burned produces blue flames.

Correction: It is not a mistake that the Zeppelins burned with a yellow flame. Bright yellow flames were seen at the famous Hindenburg disaster, which is now thought to have been caused (both the colour of the flames, and the disaster) by aluminised cellulose acetate in the airship's skin. Hydrogen burns with a very pale flame, which would be virtually invisible in daylight (or the well-lit hanger in the movie). See: www.hydrogenus.com/advocate/ad22zepp.htm.

Bruce Almighty (2003)

Corrected entry: Bruce couldn't make Grace walk toward him in the playground due to free will, so how is it possible that he could make the other anchorman talk gibberish? He didn't want to say those things, therefore his free will was violated.

troy fox

Correction: Bruce didn't make him say anything, he just interfered with the physical process of speech. Therefore, free will was not violated.
