Suggested correction: There's nothing sudden about it. From the start of this episode, the card table is at the center of the living room, with the couch pushed back toward the wall, and the desk is behind the couch (holding telephone, etc), up against the wall where the piano usually is in other episodes. Ethel asks Ricky about the sheet music on the piano, and he explains he's been working on a musical number for the show at the Tropicana. So, for this episode's ongoing musical storyline, the positions of the piano and desk have been switched. This occurs again a few episodes later in Breaking the Lease. The rearranging of furniture between episodes occurs often, and would only be a problem if it happens within a scene.

I Love Lucy (1951)

Lucy Hates to Leave - S6-E15

Continuity mistake: When Lucy buys back her coffee table, Ethel and Fred move it to the kitchen in the Mertz's apartment. The door to the Mertz's kitchen (with its doorknob on the right) in this episode opens the opposite way, inward towards the inside of the kitchen, and not outward in the direction of the living room, as seen in all previous and following episodes, including the very next episode. (00:17:55)

Suggested correction: The kitchen is a double hinged "saloon style" door. The door opens both ways, just like in a restaurant and most kitchens of the era. This is evident in many episodes.

Your correction is describing the Ricardo apartment, that has a kitchen with the double hinged swinging door. Rewatch the episode. This mistake is referring to the Mertz's apartment, and the door leading to their kitchen is a normal type door with a doorknob and it opens only one way. The mistake is perfectly valid.

Ricky Sells the Car - S5-E4

Continuity mistake: The Mertz' check out of the hotel and are in the garage on a motorcycle. Later they are back in their hotel room with Fred napping in a chair with a hurt shoulder.

Suggested correction: Ethel and Fred checked out of room 317, intending to leave. Later, after their motorcycle crashed, Ethel and Fred checked back in and were given room 372 (time codes 00:09:05 and 00:12:15), so Fred (with his hurt shoulder) is napping in the chair in his and Ethel's new room. There's no continuity mistake.

The Saxophone - S2-E5

Corrected entry: When Ricky goes to use the phone after he finds out about the fake man, he swings the wires on the phone, knocking something on the desk down. The camera goes to a man and then back to the desk, were the thing is standing back up as though it was never moved.

*BleuFever

Correction: When Ricky dials the phone to call Jule, at the musicians' union, a small object falls over beside the telephone, and then it cuts to Jule picking up the ringing phone and saying hello to Ricky, but it's not until the shot cuts back to Ricky that we see the little object is upright again, which Ricky simply did while he was offscreen.

The Indian Show - S2-E24

Corrected entry: While Fred, Ethel and Ricky are doing their number the shadow of the boom mike can be seen on the wall with the curtains leading to the backstage area.

Correction: When Ricky, Fred, and Ethel are rehearsing their number, and also during their actual performance of the song "Pass That Peace Pipe", there is no shadow of the boom mic visible on either of the walls with door curtains, stage left or right.
