Corrected entry: Supposedly, the new Queen removed from Ripley is the only vector for recreating the Alien line: Perez is told that the Queen will begin producing eggs in a few days. But at the end of the movie, we find that the Queen is now using a reproductive system based on humans, giving birth to live young rather than laying eggs. If the scientists could salvage eggs from another site, why would they bother cloning Ripley?

Phoenix

Correction: In the script for the film it is revealed that the Alien Queen was able to produce eggs AND give birth to live young, as a result of the cloning process. The eggs the Queen produced for the first batch of hosts probably were created and stored before the hosts arrived. The reference to laying eggs was probably for the second batch of eggs to be laid, as the scientists planned to make as many aliens as possible, and were waiting on other batches of human cargo to arrive for them to impregnate.

Shrek (2001)

Corrected entry: In the love scene between donkey and dragon, the dragon lights the candles on the chandelier. When it falls on to the dragon's neck, they are not lit or smoking.

Correction: When Shrek is swinging on the chain the candles are lit, but whenever he falls past the candles they do actually go out. (You have to watch very carefully to see it.) So, the unlit chandelier can easily land on the dragons head, as Shrek blew the candles out with the gust of wind he created as he swung past them. Well done to the filmmaker's foresight for paying such attention to detail in this scene.

Goldeneye (1995)

Corrected entry: If you've lived in the Russian world, you know how very unlikely it is that any Russian would (like Boris) have to go outside to smoke a cigarette. That he should have to go outside in that kind of weather is even less believable. Of course, that isn't Boris's real reason for going outside. But his excuse should seem strange to everyone else.

Correction: His excuse didn't seem strange to his co-workers because Boris didn't actually say he was going *outside* to have the cigarette, he just said he was going to have one. No-one would have found it strange because they probably thought he was going to the canteen room to have it.

The Simpsons (1989)

Correction: In several episodes, Mrs. Krabappel talks to other teachers at the school, students, and even Bart about her ex, Mr. Krabappel.

Corrected entry: When Kristoff dies, he sings the La Resistance song, but he was not at the warehouse when it was sung.

Sol Parker

Correction: In the warehouse scenes, it is actually Gregory who starts singing the 'La Resistance' song, and then mentions that the boys must go and see his friend, Christoff. If Gregory knew the song, and was good friends with Christoff, (who was another rebellious freedom fighter type just like Gregory), then there is every possibility that Christoff knew the song too, or that it was those two who made the song up.
