I am a fan of Midsomer Murders. I am trying to find the title of one of its episodes. In this episode Barnaby discovers that three children committed the murders. Before this discovery one of the children tries to strangle Barnaby. It then transpires that these children killed their own father years before. I would be grateful if someone would tell me what this episode is called.

I'm looking for the title of a movie from the 80's or maybe 90's. It seems to be set in the late 1800's or early 1900's and is about a unusually smart boy named Wendell. The only scene I'm certain about is when the boy gets off a train and is greeted by two older people. The man introduces himself and the lady as "Cornelia" and tells her Wendell's name. She says "Hello, Wendy." He replies, "Hello, Corny." She says (angrily) "Cornelia", he replies (exasperated) "Wendell." Thanks.
Chosen answer: The film was called "The Wizard of Loneliness". Lucas Haas played Wendall.

I saw a movie about a year or 2 ago and can't remember the name. I do however remember a bit of the plot if you can help me out that would be fabulous. There is a man who has been living on a cruise ship or ocean liner for his entire life. He plays piano by ear and 'duels' someone while on the ship. Years go by and he tries to bring himself to leave the ship, but he doesn't. Finally the ship is going to be destroyed and he still refuses to leave and the ship blows up with him still on it. Help.
Answer: The film is by Guiseppe Tornatore and is called "La leggenda del pianisto sull'oceano", the English title was "The Legend of 1900".

Singin' in the Rain (1952)
Question: When Don is doing the interview at the beginning of the film, why does Cosmo make a face when Don says that he lives by the motto "Dignity, always dignity"?
Answer: As you can see in the flashback during the interview, Don hasn't always managed to live by his alleged motto - to put it mildly!

Good bye, Lenin! (2003)
Question: After Alex finds his father and is driving back home, we see a scene from the hospital, where Lara (or another nurse?) is talking to Alex's mother and telling her that the Berlin Wall collapsed, and that Germany is united. But later, Alex's mother acts like she's unaware of this, and Alex himself also states that she never knew the truth. Why?

Question: In Paris right before Jonathon meets Sasha, he orders a drink called Penot or something like that. What kind of drink is this and what difference did it make when he had the waiter add water to it?
Chosen answer: The drink is called "Pernod". It's an aniseed aperitiv, and when you add water to this kind of liquor it turns from clear to cloudy white.

Several years ago I saw a movie about a black optometrist in England who had been adopted by a black family. When her adoptive mother died she researched her origin, and found a white working class dysfunctional family. At first they rejected her, but the woman finally admitted that she had had a one night stand during the war with a black American soldier. Her entry into their lives resolved all their problems. Can you identify this film?
Answer: The film is "Secrets And Lies" by Mike Leigh.

I saw this movie years ago about a man and woman meeting in a sort of way station where it is decided if you have lived a good enough life to go to heaven or if you have to go back to earth and be reincarnated to try again. He finds out he was a tribesman eaten by an animal, she finds out she was Sir Lancelot or a knight. In the end she is going to heaven but he is not, and they fall in love and god lets them both go to heaven. Any idea what movie this is?
Answer: Sounds like "Defending Your Life" with Albert Brooks and Meryl Streep.

The Bourne Supremacy (2004)
Question: When Jason Bourne is running from the Hotel Brecker, he runs under a bridge over a main highway. The bridge is on a diagonal and it looks like the bridge Lola ran under in 'Run, Lola, Run' which was also set in Russia and starred Franka Potente. Was the same bridge used in both movies, and if not, what are the names of the two bridges?
Answer: "Run, Lola, Run" was not set in Russia, but in Berlin, and was shot there. Parts of "The Bourne Supremacy" were shot in Berlin, too. So chances are, it's simply the same bridge. I seem to remember seeing the same bridge in "Wings of Desire" (Der Himmel ueber Berlin). Perhaps it's just the most accessible for filming.

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003)
Question: When Aragorn is crowned at the ceremony, he sings a hymn in what I beleive is Elvish. What are the lyrics? I am currently reading The Lord of the Rings but it will be a while before I get to that part of the story.
Chosen answer: The Elvish text is: "Et Eärello Endorenna utúlien. Sinome maruvan ar Hildinyar tenn' Ambar-metta." This translates as: "Out of the Great Sea to Middle-earth I am come. In this place will I abide, and my heirs, unto the ending of the world." It is a Gondorian tradition, echoing the words of Aragorn's ancestor Elendil on his first arrival in Middle-earth, and shows that Aragorn has fully accepted his heritage and is at last willing to claim the kingship.
