Other mistake: When Aster summons Destiny Hero Dunker, in the shot of him showing the card to Adrian, its attack points are 1100, as shown on the card. The monster then appears on the field, and its attack points are 1200, as shown by the attack point display. (00:14:52)

The Forbidden Ritual: Part 1 - S3-E40

Continuity mistake: When Zane is telling Aster about how he never got to duel the Supreme King, there is a shot focusing on Aster where he is facing Zane, then turns his body 90° to look at the others behind him. Then it cuts to a wider shot, where Aster is facing the others directly and isn't turned away from them. Then he's back to his original position in the next shot. The next shot, he and Zane are side-by-side, even though he was supposed to be facing him directly in the previous shot. (00:04:40)

The Forbidden Ritual: Part 1 - S3-E40

Other mistake: When Zane and Aster are looking through Jaden's deck, in the close-up of the cards, Super Polymerization can be seen. Aster then takes the card from the deck to look at it and rotates it 180°. However, the card was already right-side up when it was in the deck, so all Aster would've done is turn the card upside down. (00:04:18)

What Lies Beneath: Part 3 - S3-E39

Continuity mistake: When the henchman attacks Zane's Cyberdark Dragon with his Great Moth, Zane puts his right hand (which is sort of clenched into a fist), over the left side of his face. In the next shot, his right hand is over the right side of his face. (00:02:10)

A Sight Unseen: Part 2 - S3-E36

Continuity mistake: When Axel runs away from the Supreme King after Jim is sent to the stars, Jim's duel disk can still be seen on the bridge in the wide shot. The Supreme King and his goons go back inside the castle, but in the next wide shot, the duel disk has disappeared. (00:20:26)

A Sight Unseen: Part 2 - S3-E36

Continuity mistake: After the Supreme King has summoned Evil Hero Dark Gaia, just before its attack points increase to 4400, Dark Gaia levitates into the air a couple feet, with its left knee lifted upward. In the next shot, its knee is lowered. (00:18:33)

A Sight Unseen: Part 2 - S3-E36

Continuity mistake: When the Supreme King summons Evil Hero Infernal Gainer, in the shot of him turning the card so that Jim can see it, his thumb is positioned toward the right-hand side of the card. In a close-up, his thumb is nearer to the middle. (00:07:28)

A Sight Unseen: Part 1 - S3-E35

Continuity mistake: On Jim's second turn, he draws a card from his deck. When he finishes drawing, he has two fingers pressed against the back of the card. In a close-up of the card, he has the side of one finger against the back of it. (00:18:12)

Dueling with the Dark Army - S3-E30

Continuity mistake: After the opening titles, the scene opens on the main group standing around the bed of the man who went to the stars at the end of the previous episode. The boy is shown kneeling next to the wooden corner of the bed where the pillow is located. In a close-up of the boy's knees, he is kneeling next to the blanket. (00:01:50)

A New World Order - S3-E28

Character mistake: On Jaden's first turn, he considers fusing his Bubbleman and Clayman to summon Elemental Hero Mudballman because "he'd have enough attack points to take down the Sky Scouts' Simorgh." This is not true, as Mudballman has 1900 attack points and Simorgh has 2700 attack points. (00:10:57)

Continuity mistake: Just after Atticus says his boots aren't the best for hiking through alternate dimensions, Alexis says "Well I'm going" and looks off to the left. In the next shot, she is looking at Bastion. (00:02:35)

Season 3 generally

Stupidity: When the Duel Ghouls are present, they are always treated as a genuine threat and an obstacle for the main characters. However, they are never shown to be violent or aggressive, or force anyone into a duel, and the only way they can take someone down is cause them to run out energy through the bio-band, which is only possible by duelling them. So, all the characters had to do was simply ignore their duel request or push them out of the way.

Unleash the Dragon: Part 2 - S3-E26

Revealing mistake: When Marcel activates Dimension Fusion Destruction, whilst explaining that by removing the three Sacred Beasts from play, he can summon a new monster, there is a shot of him saying "I can summon Chaos Phantasm Armityle." Right at the start of this shot, a minor animation error occurs where part of his hair suddenly becomes more shadowed partway into the shot. (00:14:25)

Unleash the Dragon: Part 2 - S3-E26

Other mistake: When Chaos Neos destroys Uria, Marcel takes 2500 points of damage. However, Marcel should have lost 3500 points, because an ability Chaos Neos has is that monster effects are negated, and Uria's attack points were only 1000 because an ability it has is that it gains 1000 attack points for every continuous trap card in the owner's graveyard, meaning its attack points would've been 0. Since Chaos Neos' attack points at that time were 3500, there should've been 3500 points worth of damage. (00:13:05)
