Continuity mistake: As Bobby empties his pockets in search of his kazoo, he piles the contents on a nearby table. In a long shot, several of the toys (most noticeably a green plastic paddle) disappear, only to reappear when Cindy is leaving the room. (00:18:10)

Trivia: The day this episode aired, Maureen McCormick, who played Marcia, was in a car accident and injured her nose.

Trivia: Susan Olson, who played Cindy, loved the TV show 'Family Affair' and begged her mother to give her a 'Buffy' hairdo. The producers loved her hair that way and so for several seasons, she wore it that way (and grew to hate it).

Audio problem: When Mike walks into the kitchen and sees the chart with the list of kids on it and what ailments they've had, he comments on one of the ailments, saying "None of the kids have had distemper." However, if you watch his mouth, he appears to have originally said "rabies."
