Corrected entry: When Anastasia follows Pooka on a fallen log on the way to St Petersburg, she places her hand on a tree covered with snow. When she lets go, the snow is still in perfect condition as if she never touched it.

Corrected entry: Near the beginning of the movie, after narrating the events of the revolution, separation from Anastasia etc., her grandmother concludes with ".. I never saw her again". But obviously she is eventually reunited with Anastasia (in the movie anyway).
Correction: This narration parallels the story. At the time the story starts (when Anya is at the orphanage), the Empress Dowager has not seen her granddaughter since those events, and doesn't know that she will see her again.

Correction: Snow isn't always soft and fluffy. Often, it gradually turns into a hardened mass, thanks to variations in temperature, even though it still looks fresh. It would not be unusual to see such snow in northern Russia.
