Friends (1994)

Correction: The wine bottle and two glasses are on the counter between the phone and the end of the counter, and the reason we don't see the wine bottle/glasses is because Phoebe's blocking that area of the counter, so we can only see the phone. In every shot where that specific area of the counter is actually visible, the wine bottle and glasses are there.

Friends (1994)

Correction: The change of hands doesn't actually happen in the "next shot." We see the water bottle in Monica's right hand, but when the next shot faces Chandler as he comments about his "pinchable butt and bulging biceps," we don't see Monica's arms/hands, and then it's in the last shot of Monica and Chandler that the water bottle's in Monica's left hand.

Friends (1994)

Correction: That's not a curtain on the soundstage, it's actually the tablecloth on the side table - it's white with green pattern and trim. It's also visible earlier in the episode.

American Gangster (2007)

Corrected entry: Towards the end of the movie, Russell Crowe is looking through binoculars at the shipment of heroin being moved into white vans. In reality he's looking through a gridded wire fence, however in the movie the fence isn't seen as the camera pans across (as the view represents what is seen though the binoculars).

Correction: When you're that close to a fence, using binoculars, you don't see the chain links that close as anything more than a blur at most, and when panning the binoculars, the links won't impair the focus much. I took a photo through a screened window once, and you don't see the mesh in the photo because the lens was so close to it, the focal point was forced onto the object further away.

The Office (2001)

Charity - S2-E5

Corrected entry: As Lee is walking in to give Dawn her sandwich you can see somebody running towards the camera down the corridor behind them but this person isn't a character and doesn't appear in shot after this scene. (00:21:15)

Correction: Remember that the idea of The Office is that, as far as the characters are concerned, it's a reality show about their office life. Given this, it wouldn't be unusual for someone to be walking around in the corridor who wasn't a regular in the office itself.

The Office (2001)

Correction: He meant that his band only played original songs, not that he personally could never play songs written by other people.
