Continuity: When Wally is talking to Sebastian in his bed, the latter has lost two of his bottom teeth. For most of the rest of the movie they are there. In the last scene they are gone again.

Continuity: When Wally tells Sebastian that he'll go to his birthday party, Sebastian's hair is alternately messy and sticking up or not.

Other: Sebastian has brown eyes. Both Kassie and Wally have blue eyes as does Rowland.Two blue eyed parents can not have a brown eyed child.

Continuity: In the scene where Kassie is waiting outside Wally's work building, there is a shot of Kassie with some flowers in the background, the flowers are in the sun, the next shot is of Wally then back to Kassie, the flowers in the background are now in the shadow of a building.

Continuity: In the park, Sebastion is initially shown eating a pizza. In the next shot he is eating a pretzel.

Factual error: Just after the scene from "the picture frame store" with Jason Bateman and Jeff Goldbloom, there a few shots of New York City. One of the shots happens to be a shot of the World Trade Center.
