Continuity mistake: At the gas station, the attendant pockets Elaine's credit card saying it's a $25 reward. For the next couple of lines, the squeegee in her hand is turned in opposite directions between cuts. (00:30:15)

Continuity mistake: Louise gets the door and receives a summons; she holds the paper by the top or by the side depending on the camera angle. (00:25:25)

Continuity mistake: The waiter brings the check and the poorest of the trio looks away. You can see Elaine's glass is less than half full. Once Louise says "My treat" and they have chatted a few seconds, the glass is over 3/4 full, and is again half empty when we go back to the same camera angle as before. (00:22:40)

Continuity mistake: Louise is reading about the money ball to the others. When she says "For the entire family", Jane's right arm is under the table, but for her next line after the cut she's leaning on it with that same arm. (00:22:00)

Revealing mistake: A helpful guy is holding a jar supposedly holding the fish that were recovered after the tank was cracked open by the shot. You can tell however that there's no fish in it and Susan Saint James is dropping a handful of nothing in it. (00:21:00)

Continuity mistake: At the garage sale, Elaine's friend Natalie drops by and blasts the fishtank open. The tie/necklace she is wearing is off/on the collar of the shirt depending on the camera angle. In the reverse shot her thumb goes suddenly from horizontal to straight. (00:20:35)

Plot hole: The heist happens before 9 PM. Nothing in the movie justifies the fact that at dawn the two friends are still riverside in their wet clothes and Elaine is still dressed only with a curtain. (01:33:10)

Factual error: Louise is reading the latest issue of Time magazine which deals with inflation, a hot topic as already addressed earlier in the movie. Not really the latest though, since that issue is from April 1974, 6 years earlier. (00:23:20)

Louise: I don't know, there's just gotta be some way we can make money.
Elaine: We can make porno flicks and all wear masks.
Jane: No, Robert and I got bombed out one night, and we put "I love you" on my ankle.
Elaine: OK, we'll wear masks, you'll wear socks.
