Mistake Revealing: During the final shooting, a bullet hits a lamp post, causing a spark. A grey tape glued over the original metal surface is noticeable to help produce the spark.

Mistake Continuity: When the barman pulls Ken a fresh pint, the pint is placed on the bar and the glass is not entirely full. The camera changes angle and the glass is now full.

Mistake Deliberate "mistake": In the scene where Ray shoots the priest, Ray shoots the priest again as he exits through the door into the main part of the church. When you see the boy at the altar, the camera angle is the reverse and you see Ray as he realises that the bullet had passed through the priest and shot the child. The bullet hole in the child's forehead is from a shot which has passed through the boy's skull from back to front - but he would have been shot through the side of the head.

Mistake Revealing: It's obvious the fat American man was played by a European because of the way he pronounces "been".

Mistake Deliberate "mistake": The priest that Ray kills doesn't stagger out of the confessional booth toward the little boy until he's already been shot twice, yet when Ray sees the boy he accidentally shot, he is still kneeling in the prayer position and therefore did not move or react whatsoever to the first few gunshots only a few feet away.
