Plot hole: Why weren't there guards to prevent Don from entering the quarantined room with Alice and obtaining the Rage virus from her? Even with his master clearance; he wouldn't have the authority to enter such a high risk area unescorted. With the risk of another outbreak from Alice's body fluids, the base commander would have assigned 24-hour guards around her in addition to the forces already in control to ensure no one touched her and became infected. Anything less would have been cause for the commander being relieved for incompetence, assuming he didn't get killed or infected first.

Deliberate "mistake": During the scene where the military loses control of London, and their snipers are told "all targets are free", you can see heavy padding beneath Infected/civilian victims' shirts, etc, as they're shot. Presumably it's to stop them injuring themselves when they fall over, or to hold apparatus for the blood effects, but it's too bulky to be part of the characters' clothing.

Factual error: The aeroplane lands at London City Airport, although the passengers enter Gatwick Airport.

Factual error: There is a point where the children travel to their home to get some things. They travel to SOUTH London but as they near their home, look at Canary Wharf in the background! The positioning of the buildings show they are in the EAST towards Dagenham area. Submitted by Brian Holmes

Factual error: There is a point when the boy and girl are travelling to Canary Wharf. A couple of shots before they arrive there, you see the DLR train approach a bend (There is a white building to the left). This is approaching "South Quay Plaza" station. This station is two stations past Canary Wharf. Submitted by Brian Holmes

Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where Doyle is talking to the helicopter pilot at the park, you can see another pilot on the left side of Doyle's head for a split second.

Factual error: The Delta Operator was using an M14 DMR with a M3 Leuopold scope. However, the crosshairs shown isn't that of the M3. The M3's crosshairs has mildots used by marksman and snipers to gauge distance.

Factual error: Tammy and Andy are seen entering The New Wembley Stadium. However the new stadium was yet to be built 28 weeks after the Rage outbreak. They should have entered Old Wembley.

Factual error: Though the delta operator was burnt to death none of his ammunition on his vest exploded. Ammunition when put in a flame explode's due to the heat applied to the gun powder.
