Other mistake: When the FBI arrive with Declan at Isabella's house, in the top down view there is a dog barking and running towards the incoming FBI vehicles as they park. Other mistake: When the Jackal is on his boat, you see him set the spinnaker sail, which fills out with air in the shot from above. This sail is only usable when wind is coming from behind. But in the next few shots after the Jackal sits down, the wind is coming from in front of him or slightly to the side, as seen by his hair and the flag behind him blowing. (01:05:20)
Other mistake: The heavy caliber high powered mounted machine gun in the minivan with such a high cyclic rate would have recoiled so violently, that not only would the glass in the minivan shatter but it would have rocked the vehicle and kicked it around so that its shots would have been wild and all over the place after the first shot. Unlike how it's shown in the film. We are dealing with a 14.5 MM rapid fire cannon here. And when the gas tank is shot, the van isn't even shaking as the weapon is still firing. (01:43:50)
