Factual error: When Rasputia gets in the bath the amount of water that is displaced is not proportional to the amount of water in the bath. (01:11:55)
Continuity mistake: Sticks disappear and reappear from Norbit's hair when being hit at the end of the film. (01:27:10)
Continuity mistake: The "evidence" Norbit has, changes colour and wetness in different consecutive shots. (01:27:15)
Revealing mistake: When Norbit runs on top of the church pews you can see foot placements on the pews. (01:28:50)
Factual error: After Kate's wedding is broken up and everyone leaves the church and ends up fighting in the town square (using shovels, pizza oven paddles, etc.) you can see a post office in the background. The city and state say "Boiling Springs, Tennessee" followed by the zip code 87168. This isn't a real zip code according to the US Post Office, and zip codes beginning with "8" are closer to the west coast (i.e. in Nevada or Utah). Real Tennessee zip codes begin with 37's or 36's. Revealing mistake: When Rasputia throws the old lady, when she is flying through the air it is a double. (01:30:05)
Continuity mistake: Just before Rasputia chases Norbit out of the house, we see that his shirt is unbuttoned and untucked, yet in the next shot (where he is running past the mailman) his shirt is buttoned and tucked in. Two shots afterward, when he gets hit by the car, his shirt is unbuttoned and untucked like it was before.
Continuity mistake: When Norbit is yelling outside to Kate from the basement, you see him glance over at the potato on the fork that has acid poured on it. However you can see there's more left of the potato's face than what was melted off a few scenes earlier.
Continuity mistake: When getting stuck in the turn-style at the water part, Rasputia changes direct between camera cuts.
Continuity mistake: When Kate runs out the church she goes through a side door but you can just make out the street from where they came in.
Continuity mistake: When Resputia is going down that slide it shows her a couple of times close up and she is on the part of the slide that is level for a long time even though that part of the slide is physicaly not that long. When they pan out she is just sliding off the tilted part and on to the level part and out of sync with the previous shot.
Continuity mistake: Norbit gets soaked when he falls into the water riding his bike. When he gets to the church he is completely dry.
Revealing mistake: When the twins beat up Norbit (during the last shot of him getting beat up) you can tell that he was replaced with a very obvious dummy because his skin doesn't look realistic, and also it looks stiff as a board.
Other mistake: Rasputia did not have enough time to get on the top of the white slide and there were several people before her.
Visible crew/equipment: When Norbit & Rasputia are about to have sex in the bedroom, before Rasputia jumps on Norbit you can see a crew member wearing a headset reflected on the bedroom wall.
Revealing mistake: When Norbit as a child pushes Rasputia on the swing (helps in slow motion) he is a digital effects blur, just before he is pushed away.
Continuity mistake: In the final scene in which Norbit's father hits Rasputia on her back, he is holding the whale spear with the arrow point at the back, then when it hits Rasputia it goes on her butt with the pointed side.
Continuity mistake: When the chicken is being placed on Norbit's plate at the beginning it changes shapes through scenes.
