Diary of a Mad Black Woman

Factual error: When Helen is leaving church, she says it's April 25th. In the movie, the year is 2003 (you can tell because she writes dates in her diary). April 25th in 2003 was actually Friday not Sunday.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Helen wheel-chair pushes Charles to the bathroom for his first bath, she dumps him in the tub and we see water covering his clothes, yet in the next shot, Charles' left pants leg appears dry.

Helen: Orlando, what's going.
Orlando: I know you don't believe in fairy tales. But, if you did, I'd want to be your knight in shining armor. You've been through so much. I don't want to see you hurt anymore. Now I may not be able to give you all that your used to. But I do know I can love you past your pain. I don't want you to worry about anything. You just wake up in the morning, that's all you have to do and I'll take it from there. There's one condition. You have to be my wife.
