When THX1138 is driving the car with two officers on motorcycles in pursuit; he hits a row of markers that scatter all over the expressway, which is completely paved. When one of the officers brakes to avoid hitting the markers and falls off, we can see that he falls into a bed of a dirt or sand. It makes for a softer landing I guess. [So what? Most freeways and the like have dirt or grass on the sides, so in case of a wreck nobody falls off a paved gorge. ]
The people in the movie are supposed to be underground unexposed to daylight, yet they have very nice suntans. [Even we have tanning beds,creams and pills... it's not very unrealistic.]
