Factual error: Otisville Prison was not in the direction Monty's father was driving. He said he would take the Henry Hudson Parkway north and later continue on the Taconic Parkway. The Taconic runs due north toward Massachusetts on the east side of the Hudson River. Otisville is 30 miles west of the Hudson.

25th Hour (2002) - 15 mistakes
Directed by Spike Lee, starring Anna Paquin, Brian Cox, Edward Norton, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Rosario Dawson (add more)
Visible crew/equipment: Monty and his father get into the car to go to the prison. When the father says "Them hooligans sure gave you a licking" a red mike appears at the top.
Continuity: In the scene where Monty is about to leave for jail, Naturelle goes to get ice for him. She pulls open a drawer and grabs a quart size Ziplock bag and starts to fill it with ice. They cut to Monty and when they cut back to Naturelle she's filling a gallon sized Ziplock bag.
Continuity: In the beginning of the movie where Monty is looking at his old school photo, look closely at his beard. In the next scene when he's in the classroom talking to 'his old friend' his beard has a completely different shape.
Continuity: The bite injury on Monty's neck only appears after the dog has been wrapped up and locked into the trunk.
Continuity: In the scene when Nikolai slides a magazine into the handgun, racks the slide, and points it at Edward Norton. The gun sounds and appears as though the slide has fully cycled, and that a bullet has been put into the chamber; yet the slide lock has been activated by the gun in the next shot. This indicates that the there is no ammunition in the gun. No shots were fired, Norton freaks out when the gun is pointed at him, and Nikolai is giving a speech about being man enough to actually know how to use a gun...?
Continuity: In the scene with the V.I.P section at the dance club, Phillip Seymour Hoffman polishes off his champagne. Immediately after, Edward Norton goes to fill Hoffman's glass for a toast, but the glass is already half full.
Continuity: When Jacob and Frank eat in the Chinese restaurant the amount of food on the plate keeps changing.
Audio problem: When the police officer sits down on Monty's couch he asks if he could sit down and Monty says "Be my guest," but his lips move about a second late.
Continuity: In the scene where Jacob and Frank are in a restaurant together eating Chinese food, seated in a booth across the table from one another, Jacob has a tan jacket that is placed next to him, on the seat, to his right. Throughout the scene, as the shots cut back and forth between Frank and Jacob, the jacket next to Jacob repeatedly disappears and reappears.
Continuity: In the scene where Naturelle waits for Monty on his doorstep she pets the dog before they go in. When the camera angle changes the dog has moved her other side.
Other: The names of the two leading female characters are misspelt in the credits: Naturelle Riviera (instead of Rivera) and Mary D'Annuzio (instead of D'Annunzio).
Continuity: The untidy strands of hair over Mary's face disappear and reappear between shots when she gulps down the champagne in the club.
Continuity: When Monty complains about Naturelle's "annoying" way of licking her spoon it turns around in her mouth between shots.
Continuity: In the scene where Monty and his father have a whiskey together in Mando's Bar, the shots they drink are more full than what the bartender pours for them.
