White Oleander

Continuity mistake: Throughout the movie Astrid's eyebrows change colour from a light brown to a dark brown.

Continuity mistake: When Astrid and Claire visit Ingrid in prison, two kids are seen running towards them from behind. Before the camera angle changes from facing Astrid, both kids are still behind her. However, when it shows the backside of Claire and Ingrid in the next shot, the two kids have already passed all three of them. (01:06:25)

Factual error: When Michelle Pfeiffer is typing in commands into Barry's computer to delete all his files, the commands she types in wouldn't do anything but return an error message. It's clear the computer input was tamed down to make it easy to understand for anyone who has never even been near a computer. (00:24:00)

Continuity mistake: When Astrid is talking to Paul, after the prison visit to tell Ingrid she won't be back, her eyebrows are suddenly brown. Allison Lohman had begun to film another movie about a teen with cancer. For this reason, her brow color was darkened.

Astrid: Looks don't interest me.
Paul: That's easy for you to say, you've never been ugly.

Trivia: The prison scenes were all shot the same day, for security reasons. (It is almost unheard-of for an occupied, running prison to allow filming.) This shows the real talent of Allison Lohman, the only character to be in every scene of the movie, by showing her ability to age from 13 to 18 in the five hours the filming was allowed.
