One of Jason's only audible sounds in the entire series is delivered in Part 2 (another is in Part 4: The Final Chapter). It happens when he is kicked in the groin by Ginny. Also, this was the only time Jason ran until the 2009 version of Friday the 13th.
The movie ends with a shot of Mrs. Voorhees old wrinkled head on Jason's shrine. Originally her head was supposed to open its eyes, and smile. Steve Miner comments on commentary how he decided to get rid of the idea, as he felt it would make the movie come across as more cheap and hokey than normal.
