Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones

Continuity mistake: When Padmé and the Jedi are surrounded by battle droids in the arena, certain people change position or are crouching/standing in a different position between shots.

Revealing mistake: When Obi-Wan is cut by Dooku's lightsaber and falls, you see one of the wounds (the one on his arm) glowing and then suddenly seem to shrink and disappear, though not totally. This is because it is computer generated and didn't match up exactly with the actor portraying Obi-Wan. Hard to catch, but it is there.

Continuity mistake: When Jango Fett shoots the Jedi that jumped up onto the platform off you see he has only one Westar 34 Pistol. But when he flies into the stadium to kill Mace Windu he has both pistols and then only one again.

Continuity mistake: In the fight with Dooku and Yoda near the end, there is a far shot and Yoda is behind Dooku, but Dooku is still fighting in front of him. Also it still makes the sound of lightsabres clashing.

Continuity mistake: There are at least 12 random bodies strewn about the arena during the Jedi/droid battle that are neither Jedis or droid. A couple are actually wearing regular shirts.

Continuity mistake: When Jango Fett and Obi-wan Kenobi are fighting on Kamino, Obi-wan's lightsaber gets blasted out of his hands and it lands near the edge of the platform, but when we see it again it's nowhere near the edge of the platform.

Continuity mistake: During the speeder chase, Obi-Wan's hair is waving wildly in the wind like it should. But not so during a shot when he tells Anakin "You know I don't like it when you do that." It is completely still, not moving at all, even though they are still driving at some 100 mph. In the shot after that, it's back to normal again.

Continuity mistake: When Obi-Wan and the two Kaminoians are admiring the clone troopers, the Prime Minister says 'Magnificent aren't they?' and it cuts to a platoon of troopers marching towards the camera. Watch the trooper at the head of the group (the one with yellow markings): the white armour on his legs keeps disappearing and reappearing.

Continuity mistake: When Anakin is talking to Watto, the positions and existence of some of the objects surrounding Watto keeps changing between shots.

Continuity mistake: During the arena battle on Geonosis, Jango Fett flies in to go after Mace Windu. When he lands, he holds nothing in his hand, but as the Reek detects him, he has his blaster pistol in the left hand. The Reek stampedes him, and there Fett is missing his pistol, but when the beast turns around and charges again, Fett suddenly holds the pistol in his right hand.

Continuity mistake: When Anakin is crying on Tattooine, he starts to cry and the tears are running down his face, but then they disappear and his face is completely dry, then there are more tears, and the same thing happens again.

Continuity mistake: In the bar on Corascant, Obi-Wan cuts off Zam Wessell's arm. Her arm is on the floor and it appears that it is cut off at her mid-forearm (a little past her glove). But in the scene where she is hit and killed by the toxic dart, her arm appears to be cut off at the elbow.

Continuity mistake: During the fight with Jango Fett, when Obi-Wan's hands are tied, Obi-Wan jumps up to kick Jango. Before Obi-Wan hits Jango, Jango fires off a shot. The blaster bolt is headed straight for Obi-Wan, but then it disappears mid-frame before it hits him.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where, because of the laser blasts from two of Count Dooku's pods, Padme and a clone fall off the ship chasing Count Dooku, they fall next to each other, then Padme rolls down a dune, with the clone to the middle right of the screen. Later, before Padme tells the clone to gather as many troops as possible, the clone approaches from the lower right corner of the screen.

Revealing mistake: In the fight scene between Obi-Wan and Jango Fett at Kamino, Obi-Wan is seen jumping and deflecting blaster shots as he approches Jango. Look closely, the first shot he swings to deflect never gets fired, and he is left swinging at nothing.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Dooku's "escort" is shooting at the Gunship you see the ship trying to dodge the shots, but when Anakin and Obi-wan are arguing about Padme the ship isn't moving at all.

Revealing mistake: When Obi-Wan is talking to Jango and Boba in their "apartment", Obi-Wan pauses. He's not moving and you can see the back of his head. When Jango walks behind Obi-Wan on the screen, you can see Jango's "shadow" through Obi-Wan.

Continuity mistake: In the final shots of R2-D2 and C-3PO after the wedding, the last closeup of the 2 droids shows them with the tree over to the left and you can see clouds, mountains and lake in the gap between the droids and the tree but in the final wide angle shot, the 2 droids are in front of the tree; having jumped to the left.

Continuity mistake: In the scenes at the very end when Anakin and Padme are married, the cloud formations in the background against the mountains change significantly between cuts from wide angle to closeups. A little wisp of clouds to the right of the couple disappears and reappears when a closeup of R2D2 and C3PO is shown.

Obi-Wan Kenobi: [To Anakin.] Why do I get the feeling you're going to be the death of me?

Question: The lightsaber Anakin wields in this film is described as being his first lightsaber, so why does he say "Not again!" when it's destroyed in the Geonosis factory?

JohnShel91

Chosen answer: Because he dropped it earlier while chasing Zam Wesell on Coruscant. Obi-Wan caught it that time and scolded him for losing it.
