10 Twilight mistakes in pictures
Real pig guts were used for the scene where Joe Pilato (Rhodes) is ripped in half. The guts were accidentally left out of the freezer for the weekend and so were rotten when they were used. The stench was so bad that everybody ran off the set once they finished.
Lori Cardille, who plays Sarah, is the daughter of Bill "Chilly Willy" Cardille, who played the newscaster that talks to the sheriff in the original Night of the Living Dead.
The actor, Joe Pilato, who plays Major Rhoads in this film had a small role in the Director's Cut of its predecessor, Dawn Of The Dead: he's the police captain at the dock scene.
