Factual error: When Nancy goes in a car in London to score drugs there is a political poster stating 'Labour Isn't Working'. This poster was used by the Conservative party in the 1979 general election - Nancy was killed 9 months prior to this election.

Factual error: In one scene, Nancy gives Sid his trademark chain/padlock necklace. That item was actually given to him by The Pretenders front woman Crissie Hynde.

Cubs Fan

Factual error: In the USA at the time the Pistols split (Feb '78) you see Sid crashing through a hotel window, there is a woman wearing a Joy Division Unknown Pleasures T-shirt. This album didn't come out until June 79, 4 months after Sid's death.

Continuity mistake: Early on Nancy is in a limo and a man with long hair tells her to get drugs. While he's talking his hand goes from resting on his chin to resting on the armrest instantly.

In reality, Sid and Nancy visited her family one time. Nancy's mother picked them up. Her grandmother was dead at the time. At her family's house, it was Sid and Nancy, her mother and father, and her brother David, and her sister Suzy.
