Continuity: When Apollo Creed is approaching the ring for the rematch at the end of the film, his robe starts off done-up, next shot shows it undone and the towel around his neck loose, and then in the last shot it's back to being neat again with the robe done up. Even when he enters the ring it's all neat and tidy.

Rocky II (1979) - 20 mistakes
Directed by Sylvester Stallone, starring Carl Weathers, Sylvester Stallone, Talia Shire (add more)
Continuity: When Rocky and Pauly are talking by the bridge, Pauly's sno-cone continually changes size with each shot.
Continuity: When Rocky gets ready for the second round there are blood on his chest. In the next shot the blood is gone.
Continuity: In the scene where Rocky is proposing to Adrian at the zoo, there are clumps of snow on his right shoulder. When he leans in towards Adrian to pull back her earmuff, the snow is gone. When he goes to kiss her, the snow reappears. When they walk out arm in arm, the snow disappears again.
Continuity: When Rocky and Adrian sees their baby for the first time the baby is wide awake. When it cuts to the baby he is asleep.
Continuity: When Paulie has bought the car from Rocky he opens the door. When it cuts he opens the door again.
Continuity: In the scene where Burgess Meredith comes to Stallone's home to convince Stallone to fight again, Stallone and Meredith are standing in the entry way behind the front door. When Meredith comes through the door, the door remains open. The shot cuts away to Talia Shire on the stairs and then back to Meredith and Stallone in the entry way. The door is now closed.
Continuity: Prior to the start of the fight when Apollo and Rocky are being announced, look real close right after Apollo is announced. The camera pans to his corner and behind Apollo, you see one of his cornermen hold up his title belt behind him. Not even a split second later when we get the camera view of the same happenings from the upper-deck area, nobody is holding up the belt.
Continuity: In the first round of the fight, Apollo Creed decks Rocky. When Rocky falls, he lands in the neutral (yellow) corner, but when he gets up he is standing in his own (blue) corner.
Continuity: In the pre-fight scene, Rocky's trainer is seen pulling two cotton swabs from his mouth and then leads Rocky to the center of the ring for the referee's instructions. As the referee is talking, the camera goes back and forth between Apollo and Rocky, with Rocky's trainer standing behind him. Except now, Rocky's trainer has about four cotton swabs sticking out of his mouth. At the end of the instructions when Apollo says "You're going down.", the camera pans to Rocky and his trainer and the swabs have disappeared.
Continuity: When Rocky walks up the stairs after watching Apollo taunt him on television, there is a chair and a plant on the floor against the wall in the back of the scene. A few minutes later, Rocky comes back down the stairs to answer the door. Mickey enters, and then there is a shot of Adrian standing on the steps. In this shot, we can plainly see that the chair and plant are gone.
Continuity: When the man is trying to make Rocky sign some papers you see him holding the papers in his left hand. When it cuts he holds them in his right hand.
Audio problem: Pay close attention to the scene in Round 2 where Apollo says, "Okay, get your cameras ready.he's goin' down.". If you look at Apollo's mouth, even though he is wearing a mouth-guard you can tell his lips don't match him saying that.
Factual error: During the period in which Apollo is trying to bait Rocky into a rematch, Rocky puts the TV on and sees a sports report in which Brent Musburger announces that the Los Angeles Rams defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on a late field goal by Frank Corral. The movie takes late 1976-ish. The Rams did not play the Buccaneers in 1976, and Frank Corral did not join the Rams until 1978. The game in question occurred during the 1978 season.
Audio problem: Right at the start of Round 2 just before Apollo is about to come out of his corner, his manager yells "Stick and move, stick and move", but it is plain as daylight his lips don't match what he is saying.
Continuity: When Mickey is watching Apollo Creed on TV, he has one sock on. When he stands up in rage, he has both socks on.
Factual error: Early in the movie, in the scene where Rocky is taking Adrian home from their wedding, they are seen walking under the elevated subway train (the Market-Frankford "El"). Rocky lives in South Philadelphia (in Rocky III he said the Spectrum in South Philly was "10 minutes from my house" so he didn't move), where the subway runs underground.
Factual error: Even though the story is supposed to take place in late 1976-ish, the Trans Am that Rocky drives is a 1979 model.
Deliberate "mistake": When Rocky meets the kid that has his entire overbody and head covered in gypsum you can see that it is fake as the gypsum on the kids head is loose. The kid can move his head inside of it.
Continuity: When Rocky knocks Apollo down in the last round, Apollo lands on his back. The very next shot, Apollo is on his front reaching for the ropes.
