Way of the Gun (2000) - 10 mistakes

Factual error: At the Mexican brothel, in the scene where the ambulance comes to pick up Juliette Lewis, there is a sign that has "Calexico" written on it. But Calexico is a small town on the American side of the U.S/Mexico borders.

Continuity: After the doctor stitches and dresses his own eye, blood disappears, reappears and gets bigger and smaller through the dressing.

Continuity: The first time we see Juliette Lewis she is being checked out by the doctor. In this scene there are 2 camera angles, one looking at her from the front and the other behind her. When cutting from one shot to the next her hair changes from being hooked behind the ear to falling over it.

Continuity: During the kidnap scene, Nicky Katt's tie alternately hangs normally and over his left arm, changing position between shots.

Revealing: Towards the end of the film, when Parker and Longbaugh are coming to get Robin, they get in a small (by comparison to the end of the film) gunfight with Jeffers and the unnamed pimp. During the gunfight, Longbaugh empties two magazines through his 7.62 Galil trying to get Jeffers through the wall. However, the guy setting up the squibs must have been short of creativity, because the resulting yardstick straight line of holes would be virtually impossible to make with a 7.62 on full auto.

Continuity: In the hospital kidnap scene when they decide to 'move', Mr. Longbaugh goes around the pillar to join Mr. Parker. Note in this one scene Mr. Parker's hair on his forehead changes then goes back to how it looked in the previous scenes.

Continuity: Towards the beginning, when Mr. Parker and Mr. Longbaugh kidnap the woman at the hospital, when the black body guard passes her to get in front of her, he is pulling back his shirt, reaching for his gun. A second later, they show both body guards reaching at the same time.

Continuity: During the part at the hotel with the sniper rifle, in one shot the white bodyguard is lying on his side, horizontally, shooting at Mr. Parker and Mr. Longbaugh, but from the sniper scope, he is on his back and his feet are pointed in their direction.

Continuity: When the two main guys are sitting in the waiting room, the magazines flip from one actor to the other.

Continuity: During the part at the hotel with the sniper rifle, in one shot the white body guard has his right leg under his left, but from the sniper scope view, his legs are not crossed.
