Tootsie (1982) - 3 corrections

Directed by Sydney Pollack, starring Bill Murray, Jessica Lange (add more)

Genres: Comedy, Drama, Romance

Comments made in brackets are corrections from other visitors. As such, any aggressive/abusive corrections (and I get quite a few) written as if they're comments I've made myself will be ignored. To submit your own corrections for mistakes, just click the edit icon under an entry, then choose "correct entry". Some entries have "duplicated entry" after them - these are entries which were already listed on the main page, but were submitted again. I occasionally leave these online for a while, just in case they were moved in error, so don't worry about pointing them out to me.

Entry During the opening credits, you see Dustin Hoffman applying spirit gum with a brush to his upper lip, to which he then places a fake moustache. Next, for some unknown reason, he brushes it on his right cheek. [He's applying a latex scar, which is visible in the next scene.]
Entry In the scene where Dorothy reveals himself as Michael, his purple clutch handbag disappears while he's making his speech. [A wide shot reveals that Dorothy's purse has been set down on the banister next to her.]
Entry Jessica Lange's character, explaining why she drinks wine, says, "Because it's not fattening and it's not good for me. How many things can you say that about?" Almost all drugs, actually, but not wine, which averages about 60 calories per glass. [She's being flippant, not literal.]
