Factual error: When they come upon the nuclear reactor cooling towers there's a wide shot that reveals there are no electrical lines anywhere near the reactor. A reactor's central purpose is to generate electricity - all "real" (non-CGI) reactors are surrounded by electric power lines and transformers. (01:20:23)

Continuity mistake: As Chester Hills shoots the motel clerk and calls him a little shit, you see a stack of books by the door. When Noah pops up from behind the couch and shoots Chester, the top couple of books on the stack turn almost a full 90 degree angle. (00:06:50)
Noah Kross: The unlicensed sale of clean water is a felony. (00:04:05)
Trivia: In the final scenes of the film, Noah Kross, played by Nicolas Cage, is wearing a mechanic's jacket. On the badge on his jacket is the name "Ray." Coincidentally, in his very next film called Looking Glass, Nicolas Cage plays a character named Ray. (01:21:55)
