From the director of Black Swan, mother! is a psychological thriller by Darren Aronofsky about a man, woman, and their home that becomes immediately overrun with various people representing various stages of life and death. Jenifer Lawrence stars as the title character, who suffers through it all as Javier Bardem, Ed Harris, Michelle Pfeiffer and others give great turns as the people and world that they inhabit: strange, anonymous and yet very violent and hazardous. While not everyone's cup of tea, it is sure to bring someone out there a pause, raise some many questions and even spark a little wonder.
