Ben tries to stop him but Martin overpowers him and pistol whips him into submission Laura knees him in the balls snatches away his gun and after calling the police to say she shot dead an intruder, guns him down. Dying he grabs her and tries to put a bullet in her skull but the gun is empty with a look of shock he falls dead staring at his wedding ring lying out on the floor, as Laura goes over to revive Ben.

Continuity mistake: When Sarah/Laura first sees Ben singing and watering the lawn, the view from the inside of her bedroom shows that the room/wall extends quite a ways to her right. But from Ben's viewpoint outside, Sarah/Laura appears in a corner window, with no possible extension of the room/wall to her right anymore.
