Reservoir Dogs mistake picture

Continuity mistake: In a scene near the end, Joe arrives at the warehouse and tells everyone that Orange is the informer. We frequently see Orange on the floor, however the blood patch he is lying in changes from wet to dried to very wet to larger and smaller and back and forth. Also sometimes there are bullet casings around him or the magazine he dropped depending on the shot.

Visible crew/equipment: In the beginning when Mr. White brings Mr. Orange to the warehouse, watch the background as Mr. White opens the door of the warehouse. A trailer and a crew member is visible who then walks behind the trailer. (00:11:20)

Continuity mistake: When Mr. White is trying to calm Mr. Orange in the warehouse White pulls out a comb and uses it on Orange then goes to put it in his pocket, but lays it on Orange's chest and never picks it back up. In the next sequence when talking to Mr.Pink, White washes his hands and face, puts some water in his hair, pulls a comb out of his pocket and uses it. (00:13:05)

Suggested correction: He combs his own hair and Mr. Orange's when neither are necessary. Can definitely see a guy like that carrying more than one comb. They don't take up much pocket space anyway.

Continuity mistake: During the flashback of Mr. Orange's "commode story", Orange presses the button to start the hand dryer with one finger and the rest of his fist clenched. In the next shot, his thumb is instantly extended, as well. (01:13:10)

Continuity mistake: When Nice Guy Eddie (Chris Penn) shoots the cop tied in the chair at the end, watch where Eddie points the gun, as opposed to where the blanks explode in the cop's chest. Where Eddie was pointing the gun, he probably would have shot the cop in the crotch.

Continuity mistake: During Mr. Pink's flashback, as he's being chased by the three cops, he pushes a man with a grey jacket aside as he comes between him and another man; in one shot, the man with the grey jacket falls onto the ground, but in the next angle, he just moves to the side.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Mr. White and Mr. Pink get in a fight and draw their pistols, you hear both of them pull the hammer back. In the next shot, the camera is behind Mr. White, looking down at Mr. Pink. You can see that the hammer on his pistol is down, not up.

Continuity mistake: During Mr. Pink's flashback, He shoots the four cops hiding behind the corner while jacking the car. When looking from Mr. Pink's point of view, you can see that the fat cop gets shot and leans on the ground, yet when we see this from the policemen's point of view, the fat cop isn't injured and fires without a problem, when suddenly he gets shot.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Mr. Blonde cuts off the cop's ear. When he pours the gasoline over the cop, you can see his ear is complete and on his head.

Continuity mistake: Mr. Blonde, in a gory display, removes an ear from a police officer. He then drops it onto the ground, and goes to get gasoline. In the next scene, the ear on the floor is missing.

Continuity mistake: When Mr. White and Mr. Pink go into the back room at the warehouse, Mr. Pink is about to sit on a chair, and has his cigarette is in his hand. But when the camera angle changes (when he is sitting down) the cigarette is in his mouth.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Quentin Tarantino crashes the getaway car into the back of a parked car (as he, Tim Roth and Harvey Keitel are fleeing the robbery), the car screeches around the corner and crashes, and you can see, from many different angles, that there is only a driver: no-one in the back seat. Yet, the next shot shows Tim and Harvey experiencing the collision as they are sitting in the back seat.

Continuity mistake: When White, Pink, and Eddie return from retrieving the diamonds to find a dead Mr. Blonde, Mr. Pink walks around the body and then there is a close-up of Blonde where Pink's legs can be seen walking around the body a second time.

Continuity mistake: After Mr. Orange passes out, Mr. Pink and Mr. White go into the next room to talk. Then there is some cutting back and forth to different angles of the conversation they have. When it is filmed from behind them, there is a chair in the foreground that should be visible from the larger hall where Mr. Orange is still lying, but when the angle is back to the large hall, the chair is nowhere to be seen.

Continuity mistake: During the Madonna conversation the whole place is filled with smoke from cigars and cigarettes; then it cuts to a guy talking about K-Billy and the smoke is gone.

Other mistake: When Mr. Blonde is torturing the cop he is listening to the radio (Stuck In the Middle With You). However, when Mr. Orange shoots and kills Mr. Blonde the radio mysteriously shuts off.

Suggested correction: The radio doesn't shut off, it is just difficult to hear over the shouting in the scene.

No. The music turns off. Soon as Mr. Blonde is executed, there is no shouting. It is almost deathly quiet as we watch Mr. Orange still holding the gun, and Mr. Blonde fall to the floor. This mistake is a valid entry.

Revealing mistake: When Mr. White shoots the two cops inside their car and Mr. Orange watches the scene astonished, dummies replacing the cops are visible for half a second sitting inside the vehicle just before the windscreen gets hit by the bullets.

Visible crew/equipment: When Mr. White and Mr. Orange run away after Mr. Brown's death and killing the cops, crew members are visible in the background hidden behind the truck.

Mr. White: If you shoot me in a dream you better wake up and apologise.

Chosen answer: Having just been shot a second time, he was probably dying by that point. He'd done many extremely questionable things - even murdered an innocent mom - and stood by as other terrible crimes were committed in his presence. He'd grown close to Mr. White, who'd just murdered two friends and taken a bullet for Orange's sake - even as Mr. Orange was betraying him all along. So partly this was about his attachment to Mr. White, and partly a death wish stemming from his own guilt about his actions. He knew full well what would happen but told Mr. White anyway, disregarding the consequences.
