Other mistake: In the hotel, the gang are putting together a list of suspects trying to figure out who the Phantom is. They mention 5 suspects, Chrissy's parents, Brick Pimiento, Mel Richmond, Dewey Ottoman, and Lotte. When they look at the list though, only 4 pictures are shown. Continuity mistake: When The Great Pauldini introduces himself to Velma, he is wearing gloves. As he makes an egg appear, thinking it's his business card, he presents it to her, and suddenly in this shot he is not wearing gloves. But in the next shot and the rest of that part, his gloves are back on. (00:15:15)
Mel Richmond: You must be from the show, right?
Fred: Yeah, we're contestants.
Mel Richmond: Right. Well, uh, good luck to you. You make a cute couple.
Daphne: We're not a cute couple! I mean, heh, we're not a couple... So we can't be a cute one, although we would be if we were. Which we're not. I mean, it's not like we don't like each other, we just don't "like" like each other. It's just not likely. Right, Fred? Or do we? We don't right? Do we? Why are we talking about this so much?
