Factual error: The opening states the location as Bristol, England. Santa is drinking in a pub on Shirely Street (neither the pub or the street exist in Bristol), then shortly after is shown leaving from the rooftop, on his sleigh, with multiple high rise buildings in the background. Bristol does not have high rise buildings in the main city centre, only a few blocks of flats, which all have flat roof tops, not like those depicted.
Other mistake: When Batman is video calling the Riddler and passes the phone over to the D/A, you can see Batman's face still looking at the phone in the reflection of the Riddler's glasses.
Continuity mistake: The first time we see the scene of Birdie sitting poolside waxing about her and Miles' fame, she brings her left hand up to hold down the side of her large hat, which obscures the camera from seeing Ms. Brand sitting down next to her, and when done speaking she pulls the hat down from the brim. When the scene is shown later a second time from Brand's point of view, when Birdie is talking she isn't holding the side of her hat, and takes it off from the top.
Factual error: A .22 shot would be 120-140 dB, muffled with a pillow down to 100-120 dB. Only one person heard the second shot? No one heard the third? Plus at the end there's no way a .22 could pass through a male chest cavity, and halfway into a female chest cavity - it's too low power.
Character mistake: After Dimitri put Leena's wrist bands on for her (through the door slot), Leena said, "I want to do something nice for you; you can come in." Dimitri agreed, and Leena pulled up a chair to stand on (to be his height) and caress his face/ hair. When Leena bent in to kiss him, she banged his head against the wall several times, killing him. As a "Saarne Instituute" security member, Dimitri should know not to get sexually involved with or trust a patient, especially the most dangerous one. (00:10:29 - 00:11:29)
Continuity mistake: The street view/scenery when Emily is walking down the road outside of her new apartment becomes quite different when the camera shifts to an aerial view (showing more cars and buildings, fewer trees along the right side of the road, and mountains in the distance instead of the nearby ocean). Other mistake: The white horse looked very uncomfortable from what appeared to be an improperly placed bit (too far back and/or misaligned in its mouth). The handler should have noticed something was wrong and intervened. (00:20:30)
Continuity mistake: The view from the (unseen) car driving toward the distant house on a hill showed fog well above the pine trees, but when the car/limo got to the house/mansion (10 seconds later), there was no fog. (00:02:17)
Other mistake: It didn't make sense Catherine was a Catholic preacher but worked at The First Baptist [Protestant] Community Church" and drove a van with the same on it. (00:31:00)
Continuity mistake: There are two stand-up picture frames on the table. Judy knocks over one picture frame as she walks towards and points mace at Burton. Judy continues holding the mace in her right hand and purse in her left and does not bend over to upright the frame. When Judy leaves, the picture frame is upright and roughly parallel to the other frame. (00:25:45 - 00:27:20)
Continuity mistake: The time of day changes multiple times during the first half of the movie. When Danny is talking to Papi, Papi is outside and the sun is in the west indicating late day. In Danny's angle the sun is right overhead. There are multiple times when it is full on overcast in one angle and cloudless blue sky in the next.
Deliberate mistake: The thug wearing headphones and facing the money on the shelves did not notice that Savage forcefully opened the door several feet to his right, slamming it against the adjacent wall, or that Savage had entered the room. The bang to and vibration from the door hitting the wall should have been enough to overpower the sound from his earphones, but - even if they weren't - his peripheral vision should have sensed the door opening and Savage entering. Continuity mistake: The views of Pinero's dead "trophy wife" from opposite sides of the bed were not consistent. From Seth's view, Pinero's wife was lying mostly on her right side with her hair covering her head/neck but otherwise not visible, and her right arm extended outward from her waist area. From the other side of the bed, Pinero's wife's long wavy hair was over her left breast and should have been visible from Seth's position but was not. The wife's right arm also extended outward from her shoulder area. (00:00:22 - 00:01:19)
Plot hole: When Cage and his wife and mates are going to the FBI safehouse the FBI agent shoots 2 baddies two separate times whilst Cage etc. are ascending the stairs, yet they don't hear the gunshots.
Revealing mistake: The aerial view showed it was not raining during the "supercar race", but the ground views showed at least two cars getting sprinkled on (one enough to turn on the wipers). When the camera shifted to road-level, the cars and road were dry. (Suggests filming at different times). (00:31:15 - 00:31:48)
Continuity mistake: The clock on the wall at Pee Wee's Pawn Shop advanced from about 12:00 to 12:05 when Frank was talking to Jerry, but it was back to around 12:01 after a few camera shifts. (00:05:59 - 00:06:24)
Continuity mistake: Gilbert/Robert was wearing a red pocket square (left lapel) when he was in the phone booth, but not when he came out of the hotel. (00:03:38 - 00:04:36)
Factual error: Pettis' calculation of the amount Connor needed to replace his asset was way off. He stated, "[Cornell] brought me about 250 [$250,000] a year. He had at least 20 more years of service. Subtract five years he might have spent in prison, so you owe me, what? Six point two million." Pettis was presented as intelligent, but a quick mental calculation of even the full 20 years at $250,000 would total only $5 million (not $6.2 - an odd sum). Continuity mistake: Francis pistol-whipped Leonard and - although there initially was no red mark - a red mark could be seen when Leonard attended to Richie's wound. Not long afterwards, the red mark was gone (but should have still been there). (00:21:35 - 00:35:06)
Continuity mistake: When The Artist is talking on the phone to Detective Mary Kelly, sometimes his long, wavy hair behind the phone is flat and other times fluffy (extending wider than the phone). (00:14:45)
